Yeah ive been having the same issue. But their is a temporary fix.

 

Disconnect from xbox live

 

System settings > Date & Time > Change date to 15/11/05 and the time to 00:00

 

Then reconnect to xbox live.

 

 

This will fix it.

Worked for me when I played for the first time in months, I found myself in a surprising state of mind where I wanted to play FPS' - I have been playing some Black Ops during the summer so I decided to, for the sake of change and being hyped about BF3 - to play some BC2... Three hours later, my hunger had only grown. It's an amazing game, though I manage to keep forgetting it every now and then.

It has been mentioned, all over the UK forums and in various other places. So annoying.

Yeah, one simple Google search brought up hundreds of results about the sh*tty EA servers. Not played many, if any, EA games online so never really known how bad the problem is, and it was the first time I've had the error on BC2, but I hope it's not that often.

 

Back up for me now anyway.

I hope that in Battlefield 3 we won't get these same issues, I remember my friend having all his stats reset a few months ago. He had progressed really far too. Fortunatly i havn't had that problem but the EA servers have crashed a few times. Anyways does anybody want to squad up on xbox live later? Just add my gamertag.

Im having trouble installing this game on my comp. Everything works smoothly until it starts to copy the files, then it just stops and nothing happens. I have tried it three times and the first time it made almost 50% install but it took almost an hour and then it stopped again. And now it wont even start copying files, it just freezes. Any ideas/solutions? I have played this game before when i was using Vista, but now im running Win7.

Well...that was a short game. Definitely one of my top FPS games now though, and I'm not bothered about having to replay levels to collect all the missing collectables etc.

 

Some of the levels had their rather annoyingly hard parts, such as all the helicopters on the Sangre Del Toro level. The RPG on the game is terrible, and even with a stationary target, the rocket seems to just fire off into it's own direction.

 

Not too happy with the ending of the game either.

I'm on about the ending in terms of gameplay. Found myself repeating that one last little bit of the game,just to get one bullet on target

Why on heavy metal does people get in the transport helicopter and just fly off without a gunner!!!!! Its pointless i wish people would think more about team work than getting to a base first!!

Heavy metal, Harvest day and Atacama Desert on conquest. HM and AD have helicopters though and they can by mighty annoying some times.

Just found my disc.... A sh*t ton of newbies with snipers, in other words freebies and there was just much cinematic experience in the multiplayer with helicopter crashes and so on... Man what a game

Sorry for bumping such a old topic, but...

 

Anyone else having issues with M-Com lights? When they are armed, when the red light begins to blink, I'm getting huge FPS drop, more far away I'm from M-Com, the slighter the drop is. Kinda annoying.

 

 

And some screens of my game-stats. The one with 3 shots, 3 kills and 66,67% accuracy is a game where I non-scoped while in the air, getting headshot on my friend and killing some another person behind him, and blowing up tank (BMD) with a grenade right after it.

I liked Bad Company 2 setting and story better than Battlefield3, They should continue the story.

I've got Battlefield: Bad Company 2 and I'm thinking about playing it soon. But the update is bloody long for me honestly. Sadly I only own a PS3.
