In other news, as I said all the codes work great, got my new gun models and my cheevos and tested it all out this morning. Its nice as a lower ranked fellow to get all the last weapons for each kit.

HAHA! All you xboxers check this out.  Totally and utterly free Dr Pepper DLC the sneaky way.  I take no credit for this method.  I have tested it and it DOES work.  From what I have heard though it only works for 360, haven't confirmed that yet though.

 

"The 4 universal codes are as follows.

CBEEAAA41NWH

CBEEAAAE98ZV

 

Now, You can use the codes for BC2

You will need to make 4 different Dr.Pepper accounts.

Try using Internet Explorer as trouble has been reported with firefox and chrome.

 

1.) Create a new Dr.Pepper account

2.) Enter the Universal Code

2.5) Fill out any other profile information

3.) right click the claim now button and click copy link

4.) Put link into your web browsing bar thing.

5.) Change the =4 at the end of the bar to =3. (if it's already a =3 change to =4)

6.) Hit enter

7.)Claim whatever prize you want

8.)Repeat 1-8 until desired amount of prizes.

 

Yes this means you will have create 4 different Dr Pepper accounts with different emails.

How can you test out if you have them or not? I don't have the game yet so I can't tell.

Well if its telling you to log into your EA account then you can be pretty much 100% guaranteed that you've got them.

 

@Minic- what it does is opens up the gun in question with the new skin. You still have to unlock the original if you haven't already though.

Did you start up Bad Company 2 and see if anything happened? I'm seeing alot of folks(not here) that are assuming that is a xbox download which its not. Once you start up Bad Company 2 4 different windows (One for each kit) pop up telling you that you have unlocked it. Once there it should be as easy as closing those windows and getting into a quick match and you should see four extra kit slots, I think its the second slot that has the camo and both have access to the reskinned guns.

yeah i checked on the game, and i also looked in the weapons and gadgets section to see if they were there. they werent.

Well the M1 Garand has that bug with me. And I found out the SV98 is pretty damn good actually. Now that I have all the weapons I try some of them out. And sometimes you realise you have been ignoring certain weapons for no reason.

 

Been popping constant headshots with the SV98... if they're camping snipers or running Assault dudes... headshots for everyone!

the SV98's scope owns all others (except for the first semi auto rifle) when it comes to making headshots, it's so easy to calculate where you have to aim to get a headshot.

That's me in a nutshell, I notice on attack on Rush I kick ass, went like 30-2, then 33-3. I play a lot of conquest though, which is a little bit harder to go crazy.

 

This game kicks ass though!

I heard that the assault class can also use c4...is this true?

Bad Company 2 is 'all out warfare', Modern Warfare 2 is just action packed, no tactics infantry shooter.

 

Singleplayer sucked as much as MW2 did (both stories ware lame and both sucked balls). Though gameplaywise BC2 is superiour to be honest. MP is where BC2 is at and it's doing great.

 

Friend of mine FINALLY can run BC2 (he had a PC that met the requirements though it constantly crashed. Now he bought a new PC, which I actually 'assembeled' and it runs smooth as f*cking silk).

I quite liked the singleplayer campaign even though it was a tad short. I don't think BC2 takes itself as serious as MW2, i liked the interaction between the 3-4 characters through the singleplayer campaign, it had a fair few 'lol' moments.

 

I wasn't doing to bad online with the assault class but then i went to the engineer class to get a few upgrades for it and due to starting with a sh*tty gun my K/D ratio plummeted. I'm loving the medic class though, getting loads of extra bonus points for heals and revives.

Opted to go back to Engineer, just wasn't enjoying playing Recon + G3 anymore, I found I spent more time sitting around doing bugger all than actually playing. Having a blast with the AKS-74U so far.

I thought RUSH (Hardcore) was the biggest campfest ever... untill I played SQUAD RUSH/SQUAD DEATHMATCH and CONQUEST again. Jesus f*ckING christ what is up with those people? Full of mentally retarded cowards who sit on their ass sniping people who recently spawned/just spawn.

 

Apart from being mentally retarded they're also functionally retarded as it seems... you can't tell me that a rank 32 guy doesn't know how to use chest paddles... doesn't know it's best to pick up the medic kit right in front of him to revive a downed teammate and other obvious tactics.

 

On a brighter note: it's awesome playing with a really good friend of you online. He can finally play it and he already tore sh*t up as my 'MG' gunner a tank. It's a good change instead of these idiots just shooting at people you're taking out with the main/secondary gun of the 'tank driver' position... completely ignoring people who are trying to plant C4/shoot rockets at me.

Double post I know but still doing it. I got kicked & banned from BC2 because I told some f*cking camping attacking team to quit being a bunch of lazy f*cks and start destorying MCOM stations and attacking them. We were still on the first base of Port Valdez and all these snipers, I mean campers, were sitting on the famous sniping rock and other 'somewhat smarter' camping locations.

 

Thing is it wouldn't be a problem if we had a chance to spawn. But this turned into a spawnrape fest. The moment you spawned you were either raped by a random mortar strike on our spawn and/or by a camping prick who had you in his sights before you even spawned properly.

 

I got pissed and told them to f*ck off and actually start playing and I got kicked... and banned as it seems as I can't browse any servers nor can I join games.
