Yeah, it sounds really promising indeed. I find it odd how it takes ages to rank up after level '25' or so but before that you unlock everything in about a small week of playing. Why haven't the done something in between?

I know this may be a topic that's getting a bit old but I just had to exclaim the power of the M60. I feel a bit cheesy using it sometimes but kills are literally laughable to get with that bad boy.

 

 

How many snipers must I have enraged machine gun sniping them across the map? How many whole squads have I butchered while they spawned on a friend near one of my m-comms? Countless.

 

Here's some statistics from stats o matic that some of us use for our sigs. It shows that the M60 is the most used gun. Even though I love the gun, I think this shows that it needs to be toned down a bit.

 

I'm not going to say how 100% accurate it is. The knife does seem to have a obscene amount of kills that seems a tad suspicious to me.

Ha ha, that's awesome. I know when I was going for my 500 Medic kills it's the gun I used.

 

Killing snipers with anything other than a sniper is always great fun.

It's for kills not general usage so the repair tool is understandably low.

what amazes me is that the 870 combat has more kills than the 40mm shotgun...the 40mm shotgun is a beast, way better than the other pump shotties.

Bro, the knife is the best weapon in the game and easiest to get kills with on non-HC servers. It used to be my best weapon, now it's the M24 or the M60.

I started using it after only using the USAS and god it owns so hard.

Best weapon used to be the M24, but now it's the Barrett. M24 is retaking it's position though. UAV is best 'vehicle'. Bradley comes second. Should play more as bradley, UAV is way too easy...

I've had a few moments like in that video, like quickly sniping someone up close and then switching to your pistol to finish them off etc. I tend to try and be a recon like that too and it works some of the time, other times i fail epicly.

 

I noticed a few of you were listing favourite weapons and such so i guess i'll list a few of mine. For the assault i love the M16A4 and the AUG, though lately i've been using a x4 Optic AEK and it works a charm. For Engie i use the UMP a hell of a lot but use the AK-74 quite a bit and the Uzi too, all 3 with a x4 Optic, though not so much for the AK as it's iron sights are pretty decent. For Medic is use pretty much just the MG3 or the MG36, i'll use the M60 a little bit or the XM8 LMG but those are on odd occasions, i also have a bit of trouble using x4 Optics on LMGs as they seem to bounce all over the place when i use them with it on. Lastly for Recon is use the GOl Sniper Magnum LOADS, by far the best sniper in my opinion though the M95 is cloe behind, just lacking behind because it takes ages to rechamber a bullet and most people seem to have moved before i can scope back in and get another shot in if i didn't get a headshot, though the M24 is still a beast but i hardly ever use it now.

Got this the other day. It's pretty fun. I enjoy this more than Modern Warfare 2... just by a bit though.

I've had the most awesome matches ever today.

First I tested out the M60 in White Pass (Conquest), and got a gold star with it in the first time I ever used it.

The match was epic; it was all based on awesome Squad work by both sides and everybody used the destructable enviroment as a key weapon - that's what I call Bad Company at it's best. Ended up with over 1,30 K/D which was pretty neat to say by myself looking at the amount of intensivity on that match.

Then I played on Isla Inocentes with an unique gun tweak: the SVU Silenced Short sniper with C4's, and a Red Dot Sight. Yep, you didn't misread it! I found that it was a perfect tweak for close range sniping, it was like semi-auto SMG'ing but with all ghilled out outfit and C4's, the match was epic - scored over 3000 and died twice!

The last one was a tight Sniper match on Laguna Presa, which we (Attackers) ended up losing - but!

I got awesome headshots, three unlocks, two gold stars and an accuracy of 89%. I'm pretty pleased!

Well This is It I just Ended The game i've passed all Missions at Normal Difficulty yeah it was an awesome game last mission Airbrone was great and Killing Russian General in Air was awesome Experience. i'm looking Foward For games like that and Hope ea will Release a Expension Pack for BFBC2.

I love the SVU close range combo, it's really fun to play on HC.

I had just unlocked it and was kicking ass with it when I was disconnected and when I went to look at my stats it said I never unlocked it. Now I have to play with that sh*tty Type 88 that always recoils into the sky before I can get a kill.

Bad Company 2 DLC and Achievements Touching Down Tomorrow

 

 

Bad Company 2 fans who have been waiting for those camouflaged outfits and new achievements, rejoice. According to the Bad Company 2 blog, they're on their way tomorrow (April 21st)!

 

The 4 camouflaged kits - one for each class - with a camouflaged weapon will be available either one of two ways, dependent on where you are.

 

If you reside in North America, the only way to get your hands on them is via the Dr Pepper promotion and if you live in Europe, they'll set you back 160 points per class, or 440 points for the lot.

 

Ha... and you scoffed at 1,200 Microsoft points for 5 maps? What about 440 for what are 4 effectively worthless skins? Well... at least they come with achievements, right?

 

Guess it's time to hunt down those Dr. Pepper codes again and hope they work.

Ping isn't fixed yet (still have to do the 'run as admin mode'... but that f*cks up your 'BC2 + Steam Overlay/Steam' functionality) but apart from that it's one huge improvement.

HAHA! All you xboxers check this out. Totally and utterly free Dr Pepper DLC the sneaky way. I take no credit for this method. I have tested it and it DOES work. From what I have heard though it only works for 360, haven't confirmed that yet though.

6.) Hit enter

7.)Claim whatever prize you want

8.)Repeat 1-8 until desired amount of prizes.

 

Yes this means you will have create 4 different Dr Pepper accounts with different emails.
