I seem to lag in some Team Deathmatches, so I was wondering what your looking for in a host? Punctual or a good connection? Whatever it is, I should be there on Friday again. Booze Posted April 28, 2010 Share Posted April 28, 2010 (edited) You know, there's two definitions of host here: the host of the game and the host of the event. For the game itself, it certainly does matter if the host has a good connection. So the most correct thing to do (to assure the person with the best connection is host) is have someone with a bad connection set the game up, have everyone enter the lobby, then when everyone's present, have the host leave. When the host leaves, the person with the best connection automatically becomes host. The host of the event obviously never changes, that's the almighty LeRay, who you shall bow down to at all times! EDIT: Sorry, didn't realize that you were applying as Swooner's replacement. In that case, it's as LeRay said, you have to be fit for the job, your connection doesn't really matter (can be solved with the action described above). Only you can remove PS3 players from your roster. So you can choose who stays and who goes. But with the rule in place for participants, it should encourage more dedication and post activity. Unless they have stated a reason why they can not make it here, or messaged the host then they will be kicked.. As swooner said, it will just keep the rosters to the people that are actually dedicated to the survival of this event. Swooner and i have put alot of effort into this event and so have many others.
