Nick: Oh Diggdydog: Can I have the info then... He still hasn't go back to me after around 3 or 4 days so y'know! If not, I'll take the posse to different impromptu locales around Liberty City while in riding formation. For anyone who's not sure how this works: spawn, arm up, grab a bike, meet at the AoD Clubhouse, maintain ZERO stars at the Clubhouse until we're off. Then we cruise from one hold out to the next while keeping with our bikes. If a player is killed, just repeat and we'll meet back at the clubhouse for another round. If your bike is destroyed, have someone pick you up and get you a new one. Simples? 16vLCPD on two wheels (360) in 3 hours from now. Hope to see many... gamesguru Posted April 12, 2010 Share Posted April 12, 2010 I must admit, last night's route, I wasn't really feeling it. Although there was some slight enjoyment from it. First of all, me and Destructo (as well as others) get blown to shreds by LeRay's 'explosions'. Although I wasn't particularly annoyed that LeRay did that, but it meant that I had to get health and armour for both me and Destructo. Now onto the part that was annoying. So I'm waiting at the end of the Algonquin bridge for Jam and the rest of the group to catch up; I'm waiting for a while and I'm getting shot left right and centre, especially as Kinko brought some unwanted 'back-up'. So I drove off to replenish my health and amrour. For 20 f*cking minutes I kept going to these spawns just to get hit by a police cruiser every time I had got my pick-ups. Then when I managed to avoid this an almost get back into the 'pack', all the 'left-overs' sent me packing all the way around the map, just to get hit by another cruiser. Eventually I caught up at the finale. I had to get revenge, so I just took down chopper after chopper after chopper. LCPD = F*cking c*nts Link to comment Share on other sites More sharing options...

Those bothersome squad cars just love pulling those roadblocking skidding moves to disrupt our formation. I've got a nice solution to our nasty boar problem: We could put our route leader in a nice APC while on point followed by police bikes. This would maintain our steady speed and help us plow through anything in our path. This should help us stay together and avoid getting too split up as well. I don't want to give up on the bike routes until we've tried to improve on any weaker elements. Thoughts? We'll be getting back on foot (and possibly boats for another go at Island Hopper) for the next couple Sundays. Anyone have any route requests / ideas for the next month, gents? @PS3 - I'm glad you guys are working out the account situation. I think it's best if we 360 people stay out of your own affairs, but we also want to help you get things started off and running smoothly if we can. Just remember this is a community event and any positive criticisms and suggestions to make this the best gaming experience is beneficial to the success of the event. Looking forward to seeing some new routes. Feel free to use the routes created already or come up with new ones. Generally we try not to use holdouts that have already been used to try an make use the more appealing hidden nooks and crannies of the whole city.
