gamesguru
*cracks knuckles* Well, looks like my route was absolute sh*t. Barely any people showed up and those that did just prated about. So excuse me for leaving around halfway through. NOT!!!!! My route turned out great. All the tests of it failed, but with all the people and co-ordination, it turned out a blast. So I'm going to recall some of my highlights, like I usually do. The first moment was when we was all running down the walkway of the East Borough Bridge and an Annihilator landed just behind us; but due to the high walls, it slid downhill and clipped us all in the head and we fell over like bowling pins. Before and after was some crazy battles with the cops, with Annihilators getting dropped on me dozens of times, surviving all of them like the Terminator. When we split up in the Tunnel, our group had nothing except two NOOSE vans, so we went back and helped the other side who had a whole army's worth. The next highlight was when we split up at Broker Bridge, our left side was jammed packed with the most, yet we were the only who survived. We had at least 3-4 barricades full of patrol cars and SWAT Vans, using explosives to get passed. Oh, and I got minced by a Patrol Car atthe [email protected] Cafe that was going faster than the speed of light, whilst everybody stood by in awe as my body flew across the face of the Earth. When we got to the Bohan Bridge, of which I birthed as a hotspot; with me and Destructo doing Mario like speedruns and whatnot all the time. But this time was the best one of them all. LeRay and swooner had too much, so used the bridge supports to climb above the action, whilst we crawled through a minefield of police and NOOSE. The best was when we had the 'NOOSE-Triple-Threat'. We finished it off at the abandoned car park (as LeRay puts it). It actually was within the hour too. Well unsightly passed due to the extra long arming up period. Anyway, thank you guys for making it possible .

LeRay0409
Twas a good game last night. Guru when you are blip leader you have to remember some things. 1. Don't always rush ahead give people time to get close first. 2. Don't expect everyone to run through dozens of cops just to get to a location. Its hard making sure everyone keeps up but when people fall behind you just have to hold up unless they say otherwise.
TheRandomGuy93
leray since when do u wait for ppl to catch up, u always run ahead, hence why i call u LeRay Jenkins, lol im jk, i sometimes like it when u run ahead cause then i have an epic mission to get back to u, i just dont like it when i go bak to help ppl pinned down and then turn around and the whole group just keeps runnin, watever, it makes memories. i jumped in a lil bit late, i coulda made the whole route but i was to busy watching GOD OF WAR III!!!!!!, which was a bad idea on 2 levels, 1 because i missed some of 16v, and 2 because now when i get a PS3 and GOW3 i wont be as excited anyway, it was good for the part that i was there for, but apparently i missed the good stuff, and srry my mic was bein f*cky when i joined, but maybe next time a heads up on that would be nice instead of yelling my name and then tryin to kick me, now u may have said it but i wasnt in the game for that so say it more then once please, but it wasnt all bad, you guys got EMP'd for a couple of minutes, it just added to the carnage, lol so now im a lil behind on my cop-killing, , anybody wanna help me catch up? lol
gamesguru
To be honest, the majority of the time it wasn't my fault. I put my hand up for rushing somewhat at the helicopter area, but the those others times, I would stop when someone was dragging behind, but there was always a few people that just kept on going and the rest of the group followed. One example was when we just started the holdout at the Middle Park Bridge. I died and when I respawned about 2/3 of the group had already legged it down the park away from the holdout, so I had to catch up. --------------------------------------------------- Also, I had a cool idea for a route. Maybe we could have some sort of protect the V.I.P thing, where we start in the hospital and the group have to escort the player via ambulance through part of the route and keep them alive. EDIT: Just had an awesome idea. It may or may not work. Ths is how it goes. Firstly it would only be in Alderney (we don't do many routes here), we'll use my V.I.P idea, and this is where the good part comes in! We split into two groups on two separate routes, meeting up at certain holdouts. However, it would need co-ordination (maybe Team Deathmatch so we can only talk to our group, so we know what's going on) and also a decent amount of members. If enough didn't show up, we could just do the one route. If this did happen maybe one person records one group, whilst I record the footage for the group I'm in (Camera A & Camera B ). What do you guys think? Stay tuned, I'm working on it........ Edited March 22, 2010 by gamesguru

Very nice idea, mr. guru. I have hopes we'll implement more exciting things with 16v to keep it fresh. The thing to consider is that the VIP will have to have 6 stars so that the blue bobbies are after him. So we may have to work up levels at a nice holdout before stuffing him in the ambulance. Let's keep developing this scenario and see if we can't turn it into something interesting. You did pretty well last night leading the street riot, guru. I know you've tended to get well in front of the pack in previous nights, but you did well to yell directions and keep us moving despite all the chaos and destruction around us. It was a hell of a foot route. I really liked the bits where we split sides on the bridges & tunnels. @Randomboi - Don't sell yr box for a new game. Your mad antics and obsession with shooting popo would be too missed! Your mad antics and obsession with shooting popo would be too missed! what no love for my foot route, nah im just kiddin, I KNOW, trust me i know, but this game looks INTENSE!, i dont even know how to explain it.......... alright, when i watch tv or play vidya games i only smoke chronic when something really funny or intense happens, and when i watched the first 20 minutes of GOW3 on youtube, i literally smoked a half-quarter straight to my face without giving my brother a toke...... thats how intense it is but hey, atleast if i get GTA then ill really get the PS3 side goin, but thats IF...... gamesguru
Sweet, Nitty's routes are always good, so can't wait for that. Also, I made a mock-up for the route I'm thinking of. It needs testing though (I hope the cops spread out evenly, instead of chasing the one group):

Nitty Don
My ironing, cleaning my windows, babysitting the list goes on Leray !! glad you offered !! In regards to my Island Hopper route is anybody free one night this week to give it a quick shake down ?? As I've slightly changed my plans on this route !! I did intend to get all of us in seperate speedboatsto move from Island to Island, but having thought about it I am willing to skipper a tug to take all you fools from island to island, slightly boring role for me but I can sacrifice my fun to ensure you guys have a blast !! my idea would be to drop you at the north point of each island you then work as group to get to the south point where you will all board the good ship Donald to the next island ! Thoughts please Edited March 23, 2010 by Nitty Don
swooner
Could you come play some music for my lazy arse Friday? I got a rock show just begging for those golden pipes of yours, LeRay! Nitty - I'm just wondering who will get to the south end first, us or that lumbering rust sea bucket! No really, it sounds good, bro. How do you feel about just a couple dinghy/powerboat/ reefer escorts in case those LCPD whirlybirds decide to put unwanted holes in our Battleship? Another idea is instead of running from north to south on each massive island perhaps we just dock up at certain locales along the waterfronts (like the Alderney Ferry Terminal) to work up some stars. I chose this route of yours first cause I thought it would be a nice change to spend some time in the water. And I would to spend a little time this week going over it, maybe tomorrow or Thurs night, Guv! Foughts?
Nitty Don
Swooner - hit me up when you see me on line and we will work on the route together, another thought would be having one player on the tug with me at all times to keep the pesky whirlybirds away !! and I understand the logic of having a back up boat or 2 cos a tug boat with that many stars on it (number of players x number of stars each player) would be attracting alot of bullets !! Also just had an idea for a mini game if numbers are low ............. Prison break pirate style !! we all rack up a decent number of stars within the prison once we have 2 players on 6 stars we all board the tug next to the prison and see how many laps of the map we can do before it blows !! TheRandomGuy93
Nitty & Swooner: ill f*ck some sh*t up with yas when u test it and on the thought of 2 ppl on the tug - if nitty doesnt get a wanted level then he wouldnt need a body guard, but that would be even more boring and i dont want nitty to not have any action when we're not there Also leray i made a new route and i was hopin we could do it before i get my PS3, (which will be soon ) but its still got a few minor bugs so we probably wont, but if i get it done by friday can we try it? Nitty Don
Ok so Sundays Island Hopper route has been finalised we will need the following : 1 Skipper - Nitty Don 1 Air support - ??? 1 support speedboat (if room is bigger than 10 players) - ??? The route will be as follows : 1 stock up at the airport 2 parachute down to the abandoned Casino to build up stars 3 All aboard the Tug 4 drop off on the north side of 1st Island (apologies I forget the name !!) 5 all aboard the tug on the south side of the island 6 drop off on the north side of Colony Island 7 all aboard the tug to Pier 45 8 Hold out at pier 45, this hold out is to regather any missing troops 9 all aboard the tug to Happiness Island 10 Hapiness Island Finale !!! so a few points for a few steps !! Step 1 - when you guys are stocking please consider that I will need Armour and an assualt rifle if you see me heading to one please let me grab it first as while you guys stock up I will be flying out to grab the tug and navigate it to step 2 Step 2 - whilst you are aboard the good ship Donald please be careful with any explosives you may be packing ! Step 3 - Hapiness Island, can the air support land at happiness when we all get there to stock us up with some RPG's, just makes the finale more epic when you see 8 RPG's all going off at the end, probably advisable for the pilot to stay grounded due to the volume of RPG's !! LeRay0409
Sounds Good Mr D, do you think it can get done within an hour?
Nitty Don
Not sure so that will be the challenge !! when I took Swoon through the route I did consider having a tug limit (maybe 2 ?) instead of a time limit, but I prefer to do routes that are just do-able in an hour, and I think this one is as long as the ground troops move from north to south pretty quickly on each Island and we only use Pier 45 for a mini hold out to regather troops I think we will just about do it As I am skippering the tug, I will leave each detination on time if you miss the boat lets hope your a strong swimmer

Zelos the retired
I think I could be air support, if I get some instructions where to go and btw sorry for not joining the times you invited, I was just too much into MW2 but not so much now and thank god for that! As i think that there should be like a SWAT van escort for those running low on health to quickly get to the tug to get cover? The only time you guys are on foot is from the north to south on both islands, If anyone fancies picking up a swat van or 2 I have no worries but remember I will be in a tug boat so I won't be waiting for you guys instantly !! swooner
Sunday: Island Hopping by Nitty Don Yeah the route looks like it'll be a good one as long as we keep that Tug afloat! If it sinks we'll need to get Nitty to a new one ASAPee. Fortunately, we'll be coming from the Alderney Casino and passing by the Algonquin Tug. Hopefully that thing spawns, as sometimes those things respawn like 50% of the time for me. This is why we'll also need at least one smaller escort boat. If those nasty Helicops sink our ship we'll need to get back on top of the water before we "sleep with the fishes". The Charge/ Colony Island runs will be a "follow the leader type" sprint lead by yours truly. If I croak just stay in a group and move to the south ends and aboard the Good Ship Donald waiting for you. Pier 45 will be a nice place for everyone to catch up and regroup. Then off to Happiness! Sir Donald - If we're ahead of schedule, can I suggest a quick stop at the Poop Fortress?
