Awesome end to the route last night guys !! talk about a lag fest of po po !! the route didn't run as smoothly for me as last week but on a plus note thanks to D-boi and one of the new guys (apologies for not knowing your GT!!) Poor Weway must be tired so my suggsetion would be for the "expensive taste" route then can't really comment on the route as much as some others here but from what I could see it was hectic ! the finale was truly epic the last stands in these games just get better and better !! Booze Posted January 29, 2010 Share Posted January 29, 2010 The start was hectic, we had some new players, so it didn't go as smooth as usual. We also had a hard time staying together. Nonetheless pretty epic action and the ending was great. I even made it a snippet: I'd also like to bring up the case of the Buzzard. Although it is arguable that the Annihilator is better for transport and more efficient in bringing down other helicopters, I did enjoy the Buzzard carpet bombing in that final stand, it just added to the epic-ness (the more explosions, the better, right? ). I was thinking of another possible role I could do, not sure how much fun it would be for me though ?.............. I could get a stinger and plenty of smg and sticky ammo, and offer high speed escort service to and from the airport, for any guys who need to restock, boost their health/armour, this way you guys never lose your air support and I could have a few epic car chases between the 2 spots !! swooner/Leray - what do you think ? On Buzzards - While I know I'm prejudiced towards these annoying things, it's important to me that this is a community game and everyone's opinion matters. No matter how much we insist that we keep with Annihilators, people cannot resist and are obsessed with the power of these little birds of prey. Here's what I see as the pros and cons of each: Annihilator - Pros: Faster Transports, 3 Passenger Capacity, Explosive Rounds Cons: Blends in with LCPD Buzzard - Pros: Mini Guns & Missiles, Not LCPD Cons: Slow, Only 1 Passenger I would like to see LCPD Mavericks being put to use as Medic Transport if only they weren't as slow as Buzzards. Let's try and leave the option open to the chosen pilots and see how that goes. We're going to all be more strict as to limit the # of pilots in the air otherwise the players on the ground will be sitting there with thumbs up their asses wondering where the police went. We'll stick with the 1 pilot per 8 players rule but they can use any Heli. On Stinger idea - I'd love to see more roles come into play, my only concern is that if you are cruising around with 6 (or high enough) stars the po po will be drawn to you and you could be pulling the cops away from the team. Up to LeRay for tonight, but I'm willing to try this out if we can manage to maintain the carnage around the team en route.
