Well while I'm not going near the new patch until there is more info on what it does the news about TLAD is damn good.

 

Even though I bought an XBOX 360 elite for the Episodes of Liberty City last week I'm still excited about the PC version coming down the line - which I will of course also buy.. Being a collector means it has to be bought. wink.gif

 

Be nice to play it through in low res XBOX mode now and then upgrade to full 1080p HD goodness when the PC version is out.. Ace.

There's no point of adding the achievements if they aren't going to release the DLCs packs.

Um.. Who said they aren't going to release DLC packs? For every GFWL game there usually comes a patch that adds achievements first and later on actual DLC is released.

Yeah.I think they are doing it as there would be announcements coming this month for PC and other console (including CTW release date for iPhone and iPod Touch).

Heh, no it's all good as I'm a GTA collector so wanted to get all bases covered so needed an Xbox at some point. I also got it for free as I cashed in my local supermarket reward points.

 

Really wanted to be able to play the new ep's now and doing it this way means that when the DLC does come out for PC I get the huge boost in graphics and FPS to make replaying them a joy. Also looking forward to the mod's down the line as well..

Well the other reason to buy the EFCL disc is because there is VICE CITY FM on it.

Still if they aren't released simultaneously I will still download TLAD right now.

EDIT:@Slingshot: Jeah modding is really what PC users have as an advantage. I used to collect like that aswell but it became too expensive. tounge.gif Btw can't wait too use the sawn-off again, was my favorite weapon in San An

Hehe, there is much differents like the details. distance and graphics between

PC and Xbox.

For more informats search to CharmingCharlie his post with

10 screens, 5 from Xbox and 5 from PC.

PC doesnt have that blurred crap.

So its great to see the details like cars, buildings, character and explosions.

Im a guy wich loves 4 wheels, the TBOGT has more addons.

So playing them on PC you'll miss nothing.

Ah man I know what you mean. It soon add's up getting all the exclusive stuff doesn't it. Great feeling when you secure a rare item though.

 

Loving the modding scene. The first person mod, simple trainer and visual IV makes the game incredible.

 

Ah yes, the sawn-off. Haven't played TLAD yet - just a quick play on the first section and Johnny can shoot the sawn-off from his bike. Feels ace.

Ok, it looks like it doesn't do anything important (we're talking about important things, when suddenly new cars appear on the streets...) so I'm not gonna install it. Does any1 know if 1.0.4.0 mods will work? Like simple native trainer etc.

If not, I'm gonna wait till some1 fixes it.

Well GFWL said it's a patch for the game, and indeed I had a small performance boost.

Still your right, he's just mad because he f*cked up his game somehow.

Hopefully due to the new infrastructure of the C++ hook (which uses a separate DLL) once that is updated all the current mod's using it (including the .NET hook) should work fine in the new patch I think. So it's just how quick Aru can update it.

Actually it is release by R*, just through GFWL.In other words, the patch is develop by R* and distribute by GFWL and R* (which will be available soon).

Guys, look at the version of GTAIV.EXE... It's 1.0.0.4! The numeration of versions have been reset! And all languages are now brought together (Euro-American, Russian, Japanese)! And... This can also mean that TLaD for PC will be soon!

I don't get it. OP posted a picture of the filecheckfix asi mod ain't working. So can any1 confirm Simple Native and filecheckfix work. Actually filecheckfix is the most important thing, since I made so many handling mods, timecyc mods that I just can't let R* f*ck with me biggrin.gif

no way im reinstalling i have done so many changes to the game!!! sad.gif

i have no idea what is happening i installed the patch and when i tried to run the game it kept crashing....
