Let's make NeXt interesting.

 

I had an idea for a new contest (now that the awards are finished and stuff): Design your own future GTA radio station.

 

Basically, you think of a fictional radio station and PM the results to me. In the end I'll put it all in a poll and whoever gets the most votes gets the honor and possibly a signature/award of some kind.

 

So, what do you need to have before you can enter? Well..

• A name
• A DJ
• Talk or music station?

But of course, that's not getting you any votes. This will get you votes:

• A script or concept if it's a talk station, a soundtrack if it is a music station
• Some graphics (self made or requested here, whether it be a logo, a list of songs or whatever
• Originality -

^None of this is required though. Also, try and keep the returning characters / songs/ stations from IV and the III era at bay.

So, what was the theme with your station? Mine was based on popular British music. But none of that chav sh*t.

1990's Alternative/Indie rock; but not your standard Nirvana, Green Day, Pearl Jam rock though. I tried to pick bands that were a little more obscure to make it truly alternative/indie. Bands like(just to name a few):

 

Ned's Atomic Dustbin

Fun Loving Criminals

The Urge

Local H

School of Fish

 

 

All in all there's a total of 24 songs with 3 songs coming from each year of the 90's....of course they're all shuffled so there not in sequential order. No band has more than one song on the list, so it's pretty varied.

 

I like the British music idea, I'm only familiar with a couple of bands from there(not counting classic rock), so that would be pretty interesting to hear.

Plenty of time. I've not started yet, I'm mega busy with other things at the moment and I'm sure other participants are too (work, school, etc.). Three weeks isn't a massive amount of time, either, so it's ideal really.
