TheCrusher
Using windows xp and verizon fios internet connection, I couldn't log in to Games for Windows with GTA 4. I tried everything I could find. I hit all the forums, called Take 5, submitted my problems to Rockstar. There just didn't seem to be a fix. Then I ran acrossed a post on the Verizon site and figured I should post it here. I"m not exactly sure what it does, but it worked for me. Hope it works for all you other verizon fios users. http://forums.verizon.com/t5/FiOS-Internet...e-help/m-p/6490 Re: Need Games for Windows Live help!.Options Bookmark this Message Subscribe to this Message Subscribe Highlight this Message Print this Message Email this Message to a Friend Report inappropriate content...02-05-2009 08:45 PM I FOUND A SOLUTION!!! REBOOT YOUR PC 4.) again press Start -> Run. Type in CMD and press OK, you'll get a command prompt window. 5.) type " netsh int ip reset resetlog.txt " (without the ") 6.) REBOOT YOUR PC 7.) Start GTA IV and log into your online account! Thank the GTAIV community for this one! http://www.gtaforums.com/index.php?showtop...entry1058726225 Link to comment https://gtaforums.com/topic/431951-problem-using-verizon-fios/ Share on other sites
