PorridgeIsGood
Helloo there. I'm trying to get "User Tracks" to work. Apologies if there's some sort of stickied thread I should've checked. All I know is the FAQ's instructions aren't working. Despite immediate proof the contrary, I did all that was required. And yet, I still get commercials. Quite strange as I've succeeded in doing it before... I have about 10 tracks of various length. About 40 minutes worth audio. Converted to .WAV as instructed. And yet, putting it in: Owner/Documents/GTA San Andreas User Files/User Tracks = doesn't seem to work. Quite aggravating. Would anyone be kind enough to give me a step by step guide? Most sincere thanks, ~PorridgeIsGood
radioman
You need to use .mp3 format songs for best results. Using Shortcuts to the MP3 files seem to work better-at least for me-it also saves space on your hard drive. Remember, after you place the songs/shortcuts to mp3's you MUST go in to the in-game Audio Options and select the Scan For Media-or something similar to let the game scan for Audio files to play in game. If it doesn't work, then the song files may be corrupted or may be "protected" media-the game will not play "protected" music files...
