6200? I've not really spent much time with my AGP8 card, but I wish I had a better PCI card, and 6 series is available in PCI for Vista Aero users. 128MB on an ATI Radeon 9200 however. I have TNT2 and Geforce 2 as well! (AGP 4)

Also had SiS with video out options, then All in Wonder and a Creative card for Video (DVD hardware support and TV out)

I was really looking around for that without stepping up to an All in Wonder, but then I got a Radeon 7500 AiW card, both PCI and AGP versions, and I really like them, they make analog vid capture nearly effortless, but I still use my DVD Xpress from ADS.

I do most gaming on consoles of course, there's far less a hardware hassle and there's a fast boot without messing with discs in the tray, etc.

There's just two firm camps here when it comes to graphics cards and gaming platforms.

I'd just been watching the YouTube video of MacWorld 1999 rollout where ATI's Rage128 was being tauted with it's Silicon Graphics incorporation of OpenGL and 16MB of Ram.

Of course, that's entry into 3D gaming and for Mac and Win games covering Win 95 and 98 and OS 8/9 for Mac. Interactive GT gaming has the very nice game M.I.A., seems a lot like Sega's "Strike" series with it's 3D helicopter war missions.

Too address the topic, I've got three in the various series, prior to 6, TnT cards, nVidia 9400GT as well as the 6200 IIRC, for AGP of course. 9400 for PCI-Express.

Wow, the 9 series are surely leading the poll. But by December I think I'm going to make the switch. Either to a GT200 or a 5800 ATi.

My Nvidia Graphic Card is a Gainward Bliss 8600 GT PCX with 512 MB.

When i'll upgrade my whole PC i'll get a card of the Nvidia 2XX-series, hope it will support DX11 then. smile.gif

Yeah, ATI thrown in there for good measure. X300 is not comparable to that, it's a real stinker in the PCI-Express camp, I hear, even CC seems to think so. One guy commented that the owner of one bury it in his front yard and promised that no one would ever use it again, it was about the funniest comment on terrible tech I'd read

The GT200 series don't and won't support DX11, they are DX10 cards. The GT300 series will be DX11 compatible though.

Well the internet cafe here. Have 9800GT overclocked. GTA IV worked perfect there. In medium 60 FPS.

I've got me a BFG-Tech GeForce GTX 260 OCX Maxcore. Lovely card. smile.gif

Is common sense now so rare, that we should call it something else?
