I see since I been away the mod has self grown it would seem. I would like to take this opportunity to thank everyone that took time out of their lives to send me a 'thank you' e-mail it really means a lot to see that my time and effort has made at least some people happy. I would also like to take this opportunity to ask that if you find this mod unsatisfactory in anyway to the point they feel they need to constantly complain, simply right click on the policepursuitmod.asi file and click the 'delete' option and refrain from re-downloading any future version of this mod. Alternatively if you wish to actually make a suggestion instead of pick at little things to moan about then you can do so on the policemod.com website. Or here, but preferably there as I do not check this site often. I have released what I have now and although it's not much, it's all I have managed to get done since I got the new laptop and I'm not at home much anymore. Please note: Xliveless (xlive.dll) is no longer supplied with this mod. Instead we have switched over to dsound.dll which removes the whole issue with savegames being moved about and also MP/online play can still be obtained even with the mod installed now. Is there a way to disable the random call outs, or decrease the amount that come in? The calling for EMS, and Prisoner transport needs some work, it's not 100% of the time that they actually come. And please remove those messages that come when game is being started or when I quit. Also I noticed that if I kill suspect that drove a car, text says mission is now over but after that passengers might start shooting at me. I'm semi-back now and intend on releasing what I have done so far today however I have 1 issue! that requires your feedback to resolve! I'm considering removing the "Vehicle Collision" from the Police Ranking system, this has been a hot topic back in the day at which point i was completely against the idea however I'm changing my opinion on this and will now leave it to you to decide. I've recently installed IV again so I hope to get coding soon! And what may seem as "little" bugs to you from a coders point may be a needle in a hay stack so keep that in mind when posting comments. noid449 Posted June 1, 2012 Share Posted June 1, 2012 (edited) Ok i had this mod installed loved it. after a while wanted to try something different. i messed stuff up reinstalled game yaada yadd.. anyway.... so fresh install of game, had saved game files backed up, but now cant run my own independence fm music, just still hear chatter of police scanner. anyway to remove this. is the scanner in the save files some where there was no mp3 files in save just user9458r9 sgta412 and controlmap files HELP TIA. ok found three files another backup folder in my documents. delted them and put shortcuts to music in here should work now. windows 7 has a different location i guess Edited June 2, 2012 by noid449 Link to comment Share on other sites More sharing options...
