FearTheLiving Posted November 5, 2009 Share Posted November 5, 2009 Same here seems they were a bit lazy when it came for on screen icons as it takes a while for them to get on that map if they ever do. Playing as Johnny all I had to do was walk to the counter and it would pop up, as Luis I have to walk all over the place just for it to pop up. Though, what I REALLY find odd is how Tony's clubs have no actual icons besides the club management icon at Maisonette 9 during free roam. Very odd indeed. Especially in TLAD, I had to go find EVERYTHING again. At least in BoGT they had most important stuff already added. But they f*cked up the Burger Shot, and it really f*cks with my OCD. The clubs are the heart and soul of BOGT and it's beyond me why they're "invisible" on the map. Sure, we all know where they are, but there should still be icons to indicate where they are. One of the Superstar Cafe's north of Middle Park is iconed, and the one in Star Junction isn't. The icons are supposed to show what you are able to do, not just where places are. If there's a restaurant icon it means you're able to eat there, now. They won't serve you alone at the Superstar Cafe so it should only have an icon during dates/hanging out. So that's a bug. Similarly, in TLAD Johnny can get the clothing icon at the Russian Store but he shouldn't because he can't use it. Burger Shot should always have an icon (after you've "found" it) because you can always eat there. Another bug. Tony's clubs not having Club icons normally is correct, if you compare it to usage in IV with Club Liberty which only had an icon during activities/dates. But, Luis can use his clubs by himself, so it's debatable whether the icons should always be there. Consider they would be clutter because so many other icons need to appear at those locations at different times. The Irish bar in Algonquin shows up as a darts place when you're on an activity or date but not when you're alone.
