I just got the GTA Trilogy pack today, and I want to play VC on LAN with my brother. I looked around, and found that the official site's server is down. Anyway, I found version .03x, and then downloaded the update to 0.3z. I found that there is a pdf guide to creating LAN games, but IT is down. When I press create server, it asks for a port. Which port do I use for LAN? I left it blank and it put in 5192. However, it just says "retrieving info" forever, and does nothing. Please help, as I'm very frustrated and want to play very badly. Arch Face Posted December 4, 2009 Share Posted December 4, 2009 hes talking about VC-MP 0.3z... dude, this mod is old... and i mean REALLY OLD (2003) no one play this mod anymore (only 7 people) there are only 2 servers online, and the group who created this mod quit updating it and only work on SA-MP for now. now, to host a server of any kind (LAN, Internet) you need to buy it first. if the VC-MP gets stuck, go to your firewall and allow your computer to use it. im not talking from experience on VC-MP (only played a week on that) but on experience on SA-MP that is actually the same.\ so if im wrong, don't call me stupid... Dude your wrong theirs more then 7 people that play VC:MP because I checked how many downloads there are over 7k. and they still update it rarley though.
