CryptReaperDorian
Right now I'm having problems here on GTAF. The page is only like half-loading or something like that. Is anybody else having this problem or ever had it? Should I restart my PC or is there actually a bug in the GTAF network? Any help will be welcome. EDIT: I just restarted my PC before, but I'm still having the problem. Does this forum run on Flash Player? CryptReaperDorian
I'm on MSN Explorer. I don't think it happens on any other site. Atleast not on Facebook.

CryptReaperDorian
I had the same problem using MSN Explorer and Internet Explorer so I doubt Firefox would change anything. It'll probably be working fine tomorrow for all I know. Hopefully I don't have a virus. I'll start a virus scan.

CryptReaperDorian
I rebooted before but that didn't work. Where the part of the page cuts off (not the sidebar though) there is sometimes broken links or a black bar. I'll try to get a pic.
Shaunr
sounds like a java issue. Java has to do a lot with placement of objects on a webpage and how they load. make sure you have the latest version of java. http://java.com
Mainland Marauder
Only problem I keep having is 502 Bad Gateway or somesh*t like that. Done it a few times over the weekend, but haven't had it since.. Server issues rear their ugly heads every once in awhile. My hunch is it has to do with the added activity related to the TBoGT/EFLC release. I don't think Flash would be the problem. The forum software here is from back before Flash took over most sites. Not really sure what's causing this. What skin are you using? I've heard about people having problems with certain skins. Maybe you could post a screenshot of what you see? Moving this topic to Network Support, btw. "You tell me exactly what you want, and I'll explain to you very carefully why it cannot be."
drakic
Yeah, I had the same bug over the weekend where 'Bad Gateway' error showed up, but now I don't have it anymore. Try using Firefox.

Try using Firefox. I'm getting it on Firefox. Not always, just every once in awhile. I'm pretty sure it's a server thing on our end rather than browsers, because it started right around TBoGT dropped. It's been very active in that section. Slamman
READ AT OWN PERIL !!!!! sounds like a java issue. Java has to do a lot with placement of objects on a webpage and how they load. make sure you have the latest version of java. http://java.com While still on dialup myself, it's slow all the time, but not really that bad, typically dialup problems are searching web page results loading and some new sites as you surf. If you have cookies and cache (sounds unrelated?!?) enabled, a former view should load up faster anyway. I got partial page loads in AOL/IE that I couldn't use at all, the comment "Done" appeared in lower left, indicating the page load had all the info, not quite! I minimized my ISP and used Google Chrome, which I don't use much these days, but it's a nice browser just the same. It loaded everything but twice as slow as normal. Always a waiting game. Anywho I just had Jave prompt me for an upgrade by itself, it periodically does that I assume, but since it did, I would also advise upgrading your Java tools downloaded from Sun Microsystems...the guys behind Java offered presently. They may offer you Open Office, or at least advert it on their splash page. I've not noticed problems before I heard about them in email, so it seems more an issue as of late, no problems on my ead over the weekend
drakic
Yes, Marauder, you're right. I also get those errors on Firefox, just not so often. I got a problem now: When I want to upload screenshots for my mod on GTAG, it shows '500 internal server error' message. Is this also because of the TBOGT? Andrew
It must be a server thing, I'm getting it on two separate machines at work. Only half the page seems to load.
ghost of delete key
it's not your machine, it's the server. I've been getting the same exact thing for many days now, and the occasional bad gateway error. Usually just a server timeout though. (using firefox, but checked it in IE and CrazyBrowser for the hell of it. All the same.) When the page fails to finish loading, the server or gateway is having a hiccup, simply wait a moment and refresh, and it should fill out properly (or give you Blarst Server's Bad Gateway error). supermortalhuman
Not that it is surely related, but whenever I get a PM, if I cancel it, I only get half of the page loaded (if someone sends me a quick PM, I can screenshot this) edit: this is what I get when I CANCEL a PM, I wonder if you have popup notifications disabled, and maybe it's related? http://a.imagehost.org/0625/untitled_10.png Edited November 4, 2009 by supermortalhuman

Flores420
I was having the same problem with the LCS skin, the I switched to the default and it was fine for a while, now it's back. This is what i get when i load any page: Image ...if not that, then it's when i scroll down it only reaches at half point of the page: Image Notice the scroll bar on the right side, it reaches all the way to the bottom, but the page only reaches half way down the page. drakic
The only thing I can say is: GTANET is screwed for now. Sizes and fonts are disabled, pages load to half, you can't upload files and screens on GTAG, some large posts can't be edited, and it loads very slowly. I hope this'll get fixed soon. Mainland Marauder
Is anyone still experiencing these issues? The only time I saw this was when I would pull up a thread and only maybe half of it would show, but I lowered the amount of posts per page to the forum default from the 40 maximum and I never noticed it again. Seems other people were having parts of other pages not load completely though. Think I might just stick to this. Things load faster.
