brandrixco
In the mission No.3 where Luis drops down the cars with the lift (using a switch) has anybody tried it out after the mission? Btw can't check right now just thought of it
Rewdalf
Probably not. I have absolutly no f*cking idea why they keep doing this to us. Control the lift and lower the cars. There's absolutly no point to that! They could have had Mori or Brucie do it, but no! Luis has to do it. And now. We'll be wondering if we can use the lift outside of the mission. Well. Answer me this. Can we use the garbage truck compacter outside of its mission? Can we use the towtruck outside of its mission? Skycrane?
timthelegend93
what happened to gtas old days, where u could play around with everything there even a crane i think on vice city. the only thing i was disappointed with on san andreas was the innability to use the sky crane thing outside of missions. i blame the pc modders that found the hot coffee mod thing, ever since then rockstars been really up tight about what they let people do, this game used to be a real sandbox rockstar, step it up next time increase the replayability

F*cking nitpickers can't enjoy great games and take them for what they are. GET A F*CKING LIFE. I fail to see why people should be grateful for Rockstar's decision to pro-actively restrict in-game content for no discernible reason, and while TBoGT is awesome notwithstanding, I share their frustration at gameplay potential needlessly (and it seems, deliberately) squandered. 00adspro00
hmm ive noticed that they've taken our things they've made us do in missions running on the top of the trains? the car thing where u lower it down? cranes? that helicopter yusef has ( not the buzzard ) that bahama club? maybe its just too much for rockstar..considering it was only a dlc.. i think we gotta just wait for the next gta..im sure it'll be good..or will it
Magic_Al
This is similar to the elevator call switches in missions in IV. If you go to the Majestic hotel lobby in free roam, nada. See also: the fact there is never a subway train as long as the one Luis run on top of outside of that mission. People react like Rockstar is cheating unless you can't tell the difference between missions and free roam. Well don't hold your breath!

As far as I know, the set of parking lifts they actually use aren't even there after that mission. But yeah, even on the ones nearby there are never any cars on them. spaceeinstein
what happened to gtas old days, where u could play around with everything there even a crane i think on vice city. ...What? There's a crane in Vice City but you can't use it. GTA was never a "real" sandbox. There always had been restrictions in GTA, like an aircraft height limit, inability to use mission-only features, and inaccessible interiors. It's just that the amount of stuff you can do feel like it's a huge sandbox but it's damn small compared what is possible. Recent GTAs became so huge even the smallest mission-related features feel like it should've been part of the core gameplay. The PC version with mods is closer to a "real" sandbox. Look at the possibilities there and compare it to vanilla versions. Edited November 4, 2009 by spaceeinstein
