Wherever you go, they will find a way to get in your way, or even worse shoot directly behind you, shooting you in the process. WTH is up with that? edit: oops Drug Wars . One time i attacked a gang in an alley between houses, and A and H ran round a house and came out in the middle of the alley between me and the dealers, blocking my shots. Also they're not great drivers either. Sometimes they crash into you when you drive separate cars. And half the time i order a car from H, it arrives all smashed up. I for one enjoy there company, and find them to come in handy when both me and them are weilding heavy machineguns. Thats alotta asswhuppin right there son. P.S agree with your last post. It's all bout having fun, and when you run into drugwars after completing 100 of them youre gunna really be glad that those two guys are around. It takes 3 well placed shots from the shotgun with explosive shells to kill a gangster. you'll wish you hadn't killed them, even if there annoying and repeat themselves. Rather than constantly spawning behind you, like in TLAD, they magically speed up and can go through walls and are invincible. The second you look behind you, this magic is deactivated and they swerve into everything as they suddenly regain control. As a result, every time you look behind they are crashing and spinning out. Most hilarious sh*t you'll ever see.. That dude LAUNCHES in that hummer. You'll hit a corner, look behind you, and they'll hit everything in their path, and launch straight up into the air.. Im like damn how the hell is he getting so high, just laughing my ass off sometimes. I'm always looking in my rear view while driving back to the safe drop zone. But yeah they do get in the way a lot of times.. But they're awesome for fending off cops while you take out the gangs.. Because half the time you'll get a wanted level, and instead of having to kill cops, raise your wanted level, making it harder to get away, you can focus on your objective, grab the stash and take off, while they're supplying cover fire. Plus, you dont get penalized with wanted levels when they take the cops out. And did anyone else notice when the cops arrived they'll shoot at the gangs as well, and the gangs will be focused on the cops too. I came around the back one time, in the residential neighborhood by the globe park, and I saw one of the gang members in a shoot out with the cops, and I came around the back and whiped a few of them out while taking no damage at all. That's pretty badass they made it like that. Instead of the cops and gangs vs. strictly you, they made it a triple threat stand off. So the cops can sometimes work to your advantage, but I'd rather not have them in the picture at all. But, I was suprised how addictive it is, ive done over 50 and I need to do some more and pick up some special cars off the dealers. The AI is quite f*cked though, I noted that in an earlier thread. The camera basically goes nuts and ive had my sidekicks shooting me and vice versa. Also, as Leo mentions, when they follow in cars, it gets really odd. I was in a drug war and had my shotgun w/ exploding shells, so I blew up one of the gang's cars, and dumb armando walked into the flaming car and caught on fire, and was rolling around on the ground for about 15 seconds until it went out. Also if you are driving back after you have the stash or whatever, they can never keep up and just look at your minimap, they'll randomly come flying down the road at like 300 mph just to end up right back behind you lol. Mafioso86 Posted November 4, 2009 Share Posted November 4, 2009 Yeah on one hand it's nice that they know to go get a vehicle of their own if Luis grabs a two seater... but they tend to get right in front of me when I'm shooting and then get "hospitalized." The worst thing was I was being chased and shot at in the Cavalcade with them and it caught on fire so I bailed out assuming they would bail with me... but they just sat in the flaming Cavalcade as it barreled down the East Borough Bridge until it blew up lol. If I heard one more conversation of "LUIS, HOWZ YO MOM BALLA" "SHE A GOOD WOMAN DERP" I would have base jumped without a parachute IRL. And the OP is right, I was doing one of the drug wars where you have to take out a bunch of enemies by where a truck normally spawns (at the bottom of those hills in like bohan or something) and armando had to run in front of me while I'm spraying my AA-12 and I killed him You can still finish a drug war if one of them dies though Link to comment Share on other sites More sharing options...

I was sniping a meet between two factions so we could take the product and dough, but in the middle of doing so Henrique decided he should step right in front of my rifle, and so for a good five seconds I had to sit staring at the back of his head before I said "f*ck this" and shot him point blank in the back of the head to get him out of my way. They're boring and repetetive... I had enough after 25. there fun as fck and not boring at all.. eventually everything gets boring, but not DWs. It was so goddamn badass! HAHA exactly! I did the same thing near the airport, i got out of the car and hid behind the car with both A and H then waited to that fcker came through and opened fire. Since i was near the airport and security is high, the cops came gunning for me with there assult rifles. Still though you gotta have fun with it. Take the noose apc or buzzard and just rain down hell upon thy enemies. Or throw a bunch of satchel charges on a vehicle and bring down the enemies at the gates.
