I'm talking about the ones you hear while you drive to and from the activity. I'd like to hear all of them the next time I play the game, but I don't want to waste my time taking friends out if there isn't going to be any more dialogue. Machida Posted November 3, 2009 Share Posted November 3, 2009 The amount of conversations are variable really. For instance Roman will have a lot more to say than someone like Michelle. On my first play through of the game I put in enough hours to hear each of my friends dialogue and they all fell silent at about 60 hours game play. This is just a guess, but for the likes of the main NPCs I think you'd be looking at around 19+ activities, a hefty + for Roman who seems to have slightly more dialogue than the rest. The girlfriends are a lot less. I think I had heard all of what Michelle had to say after 10 or 11 activities. Your friends will always have something to say until they run out of dialogue, regardless of what stage of the game your at. For the main though, youre not missing much. They don't give away any game play secrets or such, its more so just used as a way for the player to connect to the characters a little more. If youre going to follow one in particular though, make sure its Brucies. I remember noting his being the best. This is all by memory, unfortunately I cant be any more helpful . As soon as they fall silent however, that means they're out of dialogue so you wont need to go too far out of your way to find out for exact. I was dating her and dumping her again and again, and one day she stopped writing about me, her last post was about something regular. Is that it? There is no special ending to her pages? I just love to hear the brilliant dialogue that Rockstar has put into the game, and I love getting all of the little backstory details for their amazingly illustrated characters. Thanks for the info. Magic_Al Posted November 4, 2009 Share Posted November 4, 2009 If you've exhausted activity conversations there's plenty of unheard dialog in missions you've never failed. There are cutscenes and phone conversations you only get if you fail (with variations if there multiple ways to fail), and there are alternate in-vehicle conversations during the second attempt of a mission. For example, destroy Roman's car during an early mission and get a cutscene of Niko and Roman taking the bus back to the taxi depot. Link to comment Share on other sites More sharing options...

I played through the whole game killing myself at the end of each mission just so I could hear it. You actually learn some pretty awesome stuff. For example, on the way to "That Special Someone" on the second try, we learn that Niko had to dig through the buried bodies of his comrades to figure out which ones were still alive. The only thing I was wondering about were the exact number of conversations during hangouts. I guess I'll have to be the one to count! Link to comment Share on other sites More sharing options...
