Are people playing TL&D online again?

The Lost & the Damned has some awesome multiplayer modes but unfortunately online has been pretty much dead for a while now.

I was just wondering if it's picked up a bit considering there's now all the new people that have just bought TL&D as part of Episodes From Liberty City.

I don't think people really like GTA online play. Most of the xbox nerds i know play games like Gears2, Halo, CoD, crap like that online.

Unfortunately old TLAD DLC players don't see any new action from EFLC because multiplayer is incompatible, due to the EFLC version of TLAD using the same updated map as TBoGT.

I have eflc and when ever i go to search for a match i never get one its completely dead people should start playing it again because i know i would i have only ever got to play it once. How do you know that the old tlad isnt compatible with the new one?

They're not compatible because EFLC changed the map and the DLC was not updated with the changes. New features like being able to go all the way to the top of Rotterdam Tower don't exist in TLAD DLC, so multiplayer can't work because people can't see or go to the same places.

 

But, both versions of TBoGT are compatible because TBoGT DLC matches the EFLC version. Having both DLCs does NOT update TLAD's map unfortunately.

 

EFLC has not sold as many copies as DLC, So there are fewer EFLC TLAD players and they can't see all the DLC TLAD players.

I dont know why people who have eflc dont play it because the game modes sound better like i seen one in the phone menu call chopper v chopper or something like that that says one person must try and get somewhere on a chopper and the other has to shoot them down in a chopper that sounds good to me and there are other ones that sounded good.

I have the TlaD DLC and its dead too. People just don't seem interested in playing multiplayer for some reason.

Its like that for me on eflc but thats just because of what time you go on if you go on early there wont be anybody on but when you go on at night there would be loads of people on.

Everyone who has eflc should go on tlad at a certain time so we can all see what its like because im sure im not the only one who hasnt got to play it yet except for one race and some other game type that i cant remember which wasnt that good.

YES, my friend and I play TLAD often. we like TLAD freemode better than TBoGT due to the lack of attack helicopters that ruin the game.

 

Attack helicopters with infinite amo and no ground weapon of equal lethality (stinger missile) to combat said copters was a major screwup with GTA IV and TBoGT, IMO.

 

TLAD fans, BlowTorchRepair and Topplepillar ARE two gamers to add. TLAD players gotta' stick together.
