Chris P Waffle
How do I win if some guy stabs me and I die? How do I bet them? How can I get a bat/knife? Edited November 2, 2009 by Chris P Waffle
shinsta312
Countering helps you obtain the weapons.
LCstuntman
Press A right before the knife/bat hits you, and Luis will duck. Then press B and Luis will TAKE their weapon, and you can use it for the rest of the round.

Dillinger8
Really?Thx No they're just messing with you. Press A right before they get to stabbing/beating you.
Profesh
Really?Thx Easier than trying to counter insanely quick knife thrusts and insanely damaging bat swings is to simply kick first, then follow-up with a combo. Lather, rinse, repeat.
John The Grudge
I find that kicking leaves you open for counter. Better to stick and move by jabbing and landing a combo when you can. When your oponent goes to strike you hit the A button the counter with the B button. If you time it right you'll take their weapon. Otherwise though just stick and move. CJPNE
They ruined fight club. Bats and Knives were a stupid addition.
Dynamix
Just use kicks. It takes forever, but they don't hit you.
