Vecceti
I would like to know everything about the diamond's history from the cook all the way to the hobo, how did the cook even get them anyways?
abbyratsolee
To answer the cook question, he probably stole them, or somehow illegally obtained them at some port on the way to Liberty City.
Warplay3r
Alright. I'll explain. It is very interesting how it managed to go through all three protaganists, causing them sh*t along the way, only to be collected by a hobo. Ok, here we go. The diamonds arrived with Niko Bellic, on the same ship (as shown in the introduction video with the cook.) In the middle of TBoGT, Gay Tony takes interest in the such precious material, and offers the cook 2 million for the diamonds. He accepts. Luis Lopez, Evan Moss, and Tony go in an entoruage down to the Broker docks to buy the diamonds off of the cook. Ray Boccino also becomes very interested by the pricy diamonds, and hires Johnny Klebitz to steal them at the deal. Johnny accepts, for a cut of the loot. He recruits some members of the Broker chapter of the Lost to aid him in his theft. Johnny shows up on the scene, and it begins a shootout. Luis & Tony escape empty handed, Evan Moss having the diamonds. Johnny and his clique kill Evan, and take the diamonds and immediately turn them over to Ray. Ray instructs Johnny to place them in two garbage bags in Algonquin. He does as instructed. A day later, Ray discusses the diamond fiasco with Niko Bellic, his other current employee. Niko, Luca, and two other men go to the trashbags that the diamonds were placed in and take them. It is then that Ray Boccino finds a customer for the ice. Issac Roth wishes to purchase the diamonds. A meet is arranged at the Libertonian Museum, with Niko Bellic & Johnny Klebitz overseeing it. As they are making the deal smoothly, Luis Lopez kills Issac Roth. Johnny makes off with the money handed over by Roth, and Niko escapes with his life. In the end, Luis got the diamonds back and made his escape in Yusuf Amir's golden chopper. Shortly after this, Ray Bulgarin becomies aware of the diamonds in Tony's possession, and questions Luis about it. Bulgarin claims ownership, and wishes them back, but Luis refuses, as he cannot sell something that isn't his. Later in the story, Gracie Ancelloti is kidnapped by Patrick McReary & Niko Bellic under the order of Gerry McReary, who is being held in the Alderney State Penitentary. Gay Tony discovers this, and he gets word from the kidnappers that they want the ice. Without considering it, he quickly contemplates the decision & takes the diamonds over to Charge Island, where the exchange is meant to happen. They trade, Gracie for the diamonds. Bulgarin shows up on the scene very shortly after, questioning the whereabouts of the ice, and cursing Tony & Luis. Luis & Gay Tony make their escape via boat, while Niko & Packie are fighting Bulgarin's henchmen. One of the men made off with the diamonds and to the top of a balcony overlooking the road. When Packie & Niko approach him, he drops the diamonds off, into a dump truck. Packie disposes of the man, and they leave shortly after. At the very end of TBoGT, Luis runs into a bum, who falls over into a trashcan, knocking everything all over the place. Luis then walks off, looking for Gay Tony. The bum rumeges through the trash, and finds the diamonds. It is said he moves to Vice & opens a gunshop, becoming very successful. Well, there ya go. There is the diamonds journey, beginning to end. Leon_S
yup, perfect except for the part where you said Luis killed Isaac Roth, Niko killed him later in his hotel(Ray ordered him to), Luis just knocked him out in the museum.
Vecceti
OOOH, I thought Luis had the diamonds and thought they were too much trouble so he slipped 'em in the trash for the hobo to take. That's a pretty big coincidence... how he bumped into the same man mere seconds before Thanks a lot
