Moderators have usually been here a few years, they have to be trusted with gtaf. Also, i wouldn't swear at mods, even if they are being stupid. I personally couldn't give a damn about people swearing at me as long as they'd expect the exact same thing back! Global Mods are usually people who've been seen to be good area leaders, who in turn are chosen for being great and knowledgeable members of a certain area of the forum....all providing there's vacancies that is. The Motivational comments used to be just like you said, but after a 2 years of service you get the Mod service pack 2. They now go like "They are just retards, ignore them" or "Just ban them, its a simple press of a button" and "laugh at them because they will never get laid ever" (with a calming laugh) and similar. The difference between the Internet and other tasks, is that these tasks are fairly simple, and they basically require a computer and Internet connection.
