What's not to like about the Infernus? It's the fastest car in game, it has a great look... and that's all I guess

They have the exact same speed, I tested both. it's more a matter of visuals. in that case the Infernus is a bit more ugly. I love the 1998 (LCS) version of the Infernus (Lamborghini) but in VCS it's more... meh

 

The Cheetah (Ferrari) is ok. it's igual in VCS and LCS. too bad you can't have a black Cheetah in VCS or a yellow Infernus like in LCS.

I'm sorry but the Infernus has very stiff handling and it sucks on sharp turns.

The Infernus indeed sucks when it comes to turns, but one problem with the Cheetah in that case is spinning out of control. Other than that Cheetah easily takes my vote. Sexiest car ever and not as unreliable as the Infernus when crashing at full speed to something. Smoke comes out from the Infernus as soon as you crash at really high speed (when you have taken a bit of damage already).

I 110% agree. Infernus looks like it is dented on this game, the SA version is much sexier.

I guess the Infernus. Considering people actually DRIVE it around the streets I come across them more often. I think the bright red Infernus is the signature car in the game.

i tested both at the airport runway 18r which is the longest runway in escobar

using my cheat device "money meter is speedometer" cheat,

 

infernus - 107

 

while the cheetah skyrocketed into a fluctuating 111 and 112

I like them both, but I prefer the Cheetah... maybe just because it is harder to find in VCS than it was back in VC.

 

But I like them both, they're both great sports cars.

Normally I would say the Cheetah, but in this game they screwed with the handling.

In previous GTA's the Cheetah had excellent neutral handling, the Infernus had higher top speed but very tight (understeering) handling and the Banshee the highest top speed but very difficult loose handling.

In VCS the Cheetah has picked up oversteer and isn't any faster, OTOH the Banshee has gotten more balanced handling and still has excellent top speed.

The fastest cars in VCS is the Infernus and Banshee. Infernus is best on twisty courses (loosen it with handbrake on turns), the Banshee excels on straights and wider turns.

 

The best handling car in VCS is IMHO the Deluxo.
