Steve Crook Posted November 1, 2009 Share Posted November 1, 2009 I've been playing GTA SA for a while now and I can usually avoid getting busted. But it still happens occasionally. But what's the worst way you've ever been busted? I was just taking off in the helicopter from SF airport with a 2 star wanted level. As I got into the helicopter I didn't notice the police car pulling up on the other side of the helicopter - or I wouldn't have got in. I only noticed it as the view changed as I started to take off but I thought I could still get clear of them in time. But one of the cops came round to my side and grabbed the door just as I took off. He was shaken a bit and paused, I thought he was going to fall off and I'd be away and clear - but he didn't fall off! He stayed standing on the runner that you land on and I had got some way up into the air when he opened the door - and busted me Steve Link to comment Share on other sites More sharing options...

I was about to save and i had like 3 stars on me.My car had flipped so i was on foot sprinting on the road to find a new car. Some random as ped runs me over, a cop strols up to me and busts me. Daniel_B Posted November 2, 2009 Share Posted November 2, 2009 A couple of nights ago I was working to get the everything-proof Buffalo in "Misappropriation". Drove my tractor up to the 10th-floor of the parking garage, detonated the remote explosives on the courier's Maverick (triggering an immediate 2-star wanted level), and then got the tractor into position to tow the Buffalo. After blowing the helicopter, there's a delay of a minute or two before the mission is officially failed and you're able to hook up the tow bar, so I sat there in the tractor's seat, patiently waiting. All of a sudden I see a cop come running towards me from off to my left. What makes it maybe my "worst" bust ever is that I saw him with probably 5 seconds warning where I could've easily gotten off the tractor and killed him, but I was so stunned that I just sat there like an idiot, doing nothing. I finally got to level 12, and it gave me 40 seconds to put the first out. 40 seconds??!! smellincoffee Posted November 5, 2009 Share Posted November 5, 2009 I hate it when a cop manages to bust me inside a car even though I'm shooting at him through the window. This seems to be an SA-only issue, not a problem in Vice or GTA3. What part of "Submachine gun firing at officer" does the game not get? The one-star wonders -- where the one-star refuses to go away and a cop randomly runs up when my guard is down and busts me -- are especially annoying. HolyGrenadeFrenzy Posted November 15, 2009 Share Posted November 15, 2009 The worst bust ever, IMAO, is when at the last of a date with one of your special ladies and she asks if you want to have coffee and he busts you. Yet the reason for this being the worst has nothing to do with the in game situation and everything to do with the game mechanic because the movie mod is still on and your game hud and armor and weapons can not be activated, either. I get up around 1200 rounds, and I'm getting ready to do the mission, and I accidentally run over a pedestrian right next to a cop who busts me immediately and takes all of my weapons. hetment Posted December 25, 2009 Share Posted December 25, 2009 i had one worst thing busted happened... well... i was just having 4 star wanted level.. to save myself i was about to go in Johnson house.. as soon i stopped near the entrance a cop from no where came and opened the door .. i drived in hope he will fall but lol he opened and busted me.. i felt so so angry as i had done 3 missions and got some great weapons too which all got in the drain and of course i lost some money and my weapons got a gift for cops Link to comment Share on other sites More sharing options...

I was doing the first mission when I was a SA noob and I couldn't beat it (WTF!). So I sprint all the way and past Ryder. I get to the hood and get to the red circle. I had cops on me because I used the RPG to kill the ballas . So Im there, in the circle, and the mission doesn't complete! And a cop comes to me and busts me. And since it takes too long to drive or even fly back, I decided to enter the subway and use the train. As I was there, I was waiting for the train to show up. So I just ran over a hooker there and got a wanted level. I beat down that cop appearing there and he was thrown on the railway, ran over by the train. I was waiting for the Brown Streak one to appear, which you can climb on. But as it appeared, another cop showed up, I had no time to had a beat down with him, so I just took my shotgun and killed him, gaining me 2 stars. I went to the train and when it stopped at El Corona. Guess what happened? Another one of these motherf*cking pigs showed up out of nowhere and BUSTED me as a passenger in the train! The first time was while ending a date with Denise back in 06'. Freaky discovery, I mentioned it somewhere on this forum at the time. No auto-aim, no hud, no way out of the situation. Your worst way to get busted is when you plan a heist for a Rhino from 69', just steal it, see an FBI agent coming towards you from nowhere, and open the tank to bust you !
