CoolGUy90
I downloaded TBOGT and to my surprise, I get a lot of texture pop ins. Somtimes objects load 10ft in front of me. I don't have this problem with vanilla GTA4 or TLAD. I also noticed that it looks worse than GTA4 or TLAD, like choppy textures and fuzziness. I don't know if this is contributed to my TV playing it in 1080P. Display settings are the exact same as GTA4 and TLAD. Any ideas what could be the issue? Bauer
Have you installed the latest update for GTAIV? It seems you need that to play BoGT.
CoolGUy90
Yes, I have the latest GTA 4 update than came out on Oct. 29th.
Captain Awesome
I know what you mean. I'll go round a corner and I'll hit something in the middle of the road. Then something appears with grass and trees on it. Pain in the ass.

It probably looks a little worse for some people because DOF is gone. Dunno about the other stuff though, but since you load games to your HDD, maybe the Xbox has some type of defrag tool that you could use? It might help tremendously but I don't really know since I don't have an Xbox.
CoolGUy90
Yea, also the map seems to take longer to load, whether in SP or MP. I haven't installed GTA 4 to my HDD, i'll probably try that out.

liquidus119
I've heard reports that the 120 GB models are slower to load stuff on them, especially when it is filled with more than 20 GB of stuff. My GTAIV has some slight texture pop in, but nothing that is outrageous. That might be because I have over 94 GB left on my HDD though.
SweatyPa1ms
Oh dear lord.... Vanilla is for normal... Does that mean TLAD is strawberry and BOGT is chocolate?
archiebunker
Vanilla = plain. As in no mods or DLC.
botobotosouksouk
My BOGT loads up fine. Only pop-in I see are in the details on buildings when I swing the camera around, but I think that happened in regular GTA IV too.
numdmind
I see things popping up in cutscenes as well. This iteration of GTA has some serious pop-up problems. I have the Episodes Disc, not the DLC, and I've seen these problems. Of course, when you install GTA IV to the Hard Drive, the problem is much much worse. No matter what any of you say, it's worse. The perfect example of Microsoft stealing an idea from someone else and not being able to actually reproduce the effect that they are stealing. CJsports
its not because you are playing it at 1080p because I do and it works fine.

Algonquin Assassin
I have a 360 Arcade, so no HDD, but I've noticed that TLAD doesn't have the texture pop ins as bad as TBOGT does. The worst is out front of Luis' safe house, and it takes a good 5 seconds or so for the parking space to load. Although apart from that it isn't too bad, but it's still more frequent in TBOGT than TLAD. Never played GTA IV on 360, so I can't draw a comparison with it. Leo Colt
It doesn't seem to act too well if installed. I had to uninstall EFLC because the pop-in just rendered the game unplayable. I wouldn't be surprised if the DLC has similar behaviour.
buschkoeter
I downloaded it because i already had the lost and damned and I thought its looking sharper and better overall but hey, I play on an old TV (no HD) maybe the diffrence is too minor if you play it on an HD TV.
