The Wii has never been used to its full potential and has various problems like the innaccurate sensing (haven't got a Motion Plus) and the overflow of casual, crap games. Good games may be scarce but there's still more than those listed on that picture, I think I've got a list stashed away somewhere of a bunch of good Wii games which are not the shovelware bullsh*t that 3rd parties keep shoving onto Nintendo's console. Wait a sec... do I see M ratings on Wii games!? Oh no, the console wars religion has been false all along! The Wii has never been used to its full potential I think Capcom is currently making the best games (in graphical terms) on the Wii. They are in-fact using it to it's full potential (graphically, depends on the gameplay, I'm really a Gameplay >>>>>>> Graphics person). If you check out Monster Hunter 3, REmake, Umbrella Chronicles and Darkside Chronicles you can clearly see some quality graphics on the Wii. This is why I love Capcom. Also, Sexy-Poker on fricken WiiWare. Yet another game banned from Australia. And people's excuse that "the Wii is just a PS2 with motion controls" is just dumb. The PS2 was actually the least graphical console of last gen, with Gamecube being in the middle with the Xbox ahead. Then people use the excuse "Wii is just 4 Gamecubes duck-taped together with motion controls", if that was true, the Wii would probably have better graphics than the Xbox 360 with all 4 of those graphics processors and multiple hardware wired into each other inside, and we know that isn't true. The argument about the controls (Wiimote and Nunchuk) is dumb as f*ck too, Resident Evil 4 Wii Edition (the best version of RE4 to date), Manhunt 2 (OMG ROCKSTAR TITLE) and Bully Wii (YET AGAIN), Metroid Prime Trilogy, The Conduit and numerous on-rails shooters work exceptionally well on the Wii. Hell, a lot of games even offer Gamecube Controller and Classic Controller support. Sh*tty excuse to bash the Wii. I f*cking hate the console wars. Case closed. Its going to have HD capabilities and is POSSIBBLY going to have gta's in the near future like a gta chinatown wars (gonna be the same as the ds/psp/itouch/iphone top down graphics, etc) and some other things. Don't forget Wii also has Manhunt 2 even though that isn't a Wii exclusive. The problem is that the good games are overshadowed by those damn exercising games. Atleast a decent Mario title is going to be released. New Super Mario Bros. Wii is a sidescroller like the classic Mario games and I love those (Super Mario World on SNES was the first console game I ever played). MC. Posted November 1, 2009 Share Posted November 1, 2009 I like that game, House Of The Dead: Overkill. I purchased the gun with it. I bought a Wii for that and the Wii sports. I'm gonna get those Resident Evil games as well. I was disappointed to find out that it was not HD because when I play it using the HDTV, the light becomes a little dark just like when I play my PS2. gta_king Posted November 1, 2009 Share Posted November 1, 2009 The Wii for it's lack of advertising for actual decent games most of the time actually has a damn good library it just feels that Nintendo and the companies don't really care to advertise this library and instead choose to play it safe using games like "Wii Sports" and "Wii Fit" to push their product. From what I hear Dead Space Extraction was actually a sales flop which is a huge shame considering it was an awesome game. I've said it before but the Wii has so much potential and while some companies are attempting to tap into this there just doesn't seem to be any marketing for it. The thing about the controllers.
