tprimex Posted November 1, 2009 Share Posted November 1, 2009 Just beat the story. Thought it was well done but out of the three stories the ending was the worst but I'll get to that after. First question since I got both of the two story achievements I care about (Don't care about the % ones) can I use cheats and still get achievements? I don't want the parachute,fighting, dancing, golfing achievements. Will cheats disable these? Okay here's the story questions? I felt GTA IV and Lost and Damned did a good job of bringing everything together at the end. There was only one question I had in each story and Ballad of Gay Tony answered these. First off what happened to Mom's loan shark, she called saying she was shopping with him and he just like vanished after that. Do Henrique and Armando still work for the Northwood Cartel. All the Wikipedia's it says Luis, H, A work for them or at least connected. Story wise it seemed they all once were but are all their own bosses now. Like during the drug wars, do you have other help, possibly from the gang? Or is it just H and A helping you? Secondly, where did everyone go? GTA IV and Lost and Damned gave a good job of explaining why characters disappeared. Usually due to deaths or arrests. The characters that are fine usually end up friends (Packie, Brucie, Terry, Clay) but like Mori, Amir, and Tony just disappear. Mori I can kind of understand, you didn't like him and you paid off the debt but he called and apologized so I don't know. I also find it a little weird Brucie never mentions him or you never see Mori in GTA IV. Amir and Tony though are just random. I felt a friendship between Luis and Amir, they helped each other out even though Amir got on Luis' nerves a little bit. But still, just disappears. But I just technically he was done with his building so maybe that's why. But Tony? He just disappeared for no reason, I thought you'd be able to hang out with him or he'd be apart of club management or something. Lastly, how on earth did you go out of debt of the mob. You killed one of their guys and Rocco went berserk, you never got the money you needed to pay them off, so why did they just leave you alone? I mean I think they just skipped out on them being your friends because everybody just f*cking raged over that in IV. If you could hang out with Tony or Yusuf after the ending it'd be nice, maybe to hear some simple stuff of what's happening after the ending, not anything too deep.. I forgot what he said in the phone call On the mob. This isn't a complete story after the credits roll. Tony still owes the Ancelotti's money. Ya, I agree. tprimex Posted November 1, 2009 Author Share Posted November 1, 2009 Yeah I actually liked the friendship system, it wasn't just like randomly "Okay, so now you're on your own completely." like the other GTA games and the dialogue when you took like Little Jacob he'd tell you about his background and what's happening with him. Like they gave each friend at least 20 conversations for the first 20 times you took them out it felt like. It was really cool. You have a bit of that with Clay and Terry but I'd imagine it's the same H and A but I would have at least liked the ability to chill with Tony too, I liked his character, he was funny. H, and A are independant drug dealers, in a conversation with Luis they talk about how Willy and his brother are idiots and they use to roll with them. Yusuf just carrys on being an insanley rich lunatic. Tony just probably lays low after all the sh*t he goes through, and to avoid the Ancelottis. Tony, going into hiding doesn't make a whole lot of sense. Like the last level he kind of got a hold of himself and took charge. At the end before the credits he seemed very pleased and together and on top of the world, it'd be weird for him to suddenly turn into a paranoid scared junkie again. I think tony still is in debt with the ancelottis or messina mafios but by killing bulgarin, it reinsured both tony and luis life would be spared and not killed. However if luis had not killed bulgarin or tony as demanded, then both tony and luis would eventually had been killed no matter how badass he is. If you cross the mob, someone has to die. and its not gunna be them. new Q does bahamma mammas open up or was it just that one mission? negatory. The club opens up for that one and only mission, and after you kill the owner then it closes again. The reason BM's stays closed down is cause BOGT is stuck in a time loop and bahama mamas never gets a new owner which means the club stays closed permanently. OH the things i would've done to an with that chopper pick luis mom up while she driving her car and drop that old stank bitch in the ocean where she belongs.
