Melee bug in TBOGT.

It seems the troubleshooting section is more for PC-oriented problems and knowing there is more readers on this section, i repost my previous topic here:

 

Cant do melee attack with neither melee-weapon without holding the left trigger button, so its impossible to attack while walking.

For some strange reason, it works bare-handed.

This bug or problem came with the update when Lost and damned was released.

 

IV works just fine with the release version(ie. without updating the game.)

I was hoping this would be fixed with the Ballad of Gay Tony update, which was released on 29th, but no such a luck.

I have the scandinavian(european) PAL-version of the game, if that matters and for the Xbox 360 obviously. PAL-console aswell.

Lost and damned is installed too, but i've tried deleting it, but the problem still persist.

 

There was a topic in the Gamespot forums before IIRC with the same problem, but the thread was ignored and deleted.

I really hope this isnt ignored just being a "feature", because i really dont see that being the truth.

 

I didnt have TBOGT when i wrote this, but now i do and it affects it aswell.

Just to iron out one thing; i have tried my wired and wireless pads and the problem is there on both.

Like i said, the melee attack works fine on the release-version(1.0 presumably.)

 

I cant be the only with this problem?

Hold the left trigger, swing the bat (or knife) once, now you can walk while swinging the weapon.

 

You have to do this every time you want to walk & swing a melee weapon at the same time.

Yes, i've noticed that, but obviously its a bug, because it worked just fine in the release version without holding the button.

This affects the original game(IV) as well when patched, so it cant be ignored as a "feature."
