No, but if you have a wanted level when you exit the mall you will see cops (and maybe some peds) falling from the mall's roof. I think when you exit the mall normally, every now and then certain things that were close to you when you walked into the arrow get teleported to the air outside, might only happen when you have a wanted level, not 100% sure myself.
