FullMetal
KotOR (not necessarily a remake but a new single player game) I've been waiting forever for that. I don't think we'll ever see it... You can enjoy their new product in about a year or so I guess. Star Wars The Old Republic. MMORPG though... but still it looks pretty damn cool. Voodoo
If I could have VC and SA with the current engine, I'd probably turn off my phones and lock myself inside my house for a month.
Don Garcia
Star Wars The Old Republic. MMORPG Bleh, not the same. And I concur with Voodoo. Great games, made so much greater. SA would be especially impressive.
gtathebest4ever
Well, Cyraxx beat me to it, but I'd really like to see a next-gen Manhunt game. The brutality and violence would be so much better with today's graphics. Only problem would be censorship (again), but I'm sure something could be worked out... Seddo
Just had a think and Abe's Odyssey and Abe's Exodus from the PS1 days would be awesome if it got the 'next-generized' treatment. Classic side scrolling action with improved graphics, animation and sounds. Also the classic 2D Sonic games from the Mega Drive getting the HD treatment like what Secret of Monkey Island got a couple of months back would be ace, although that won't be a wish as Sega are actually going back to a 2D Sonic , although i'm sure they'll f*ck it up somehow. Mind has gone blank at the mo' and there's plenty of games that definitely deserve the next gen treatment.
Pat
I just realized, I'd kill for a remake of Syphon Filter 1 & 2. Those were the first PS1 games I ever played, and I f*cking loved them. In fact, I purchased a copy of each of the first three about half a year ago, but I have no idea what I did with the discs. If I knew where they were, I'd probably still play them. Seddo
Oh yeah Syphon Filter, what a game. Although i think Syphon Filter 1 was the best one that they made, i completed the first so many times and it never got boring. The best mission out of the ones i can remember for me was the one in the big massive garden area kind off place and you had to spend all of the mission using either night vision mode or thermal vision . Typhus
I want to see a decent version of The Getaway. With decent controls and a solid story. That had so much potential and I really wanted to like the game, but the ammount of problems it had were awful.

gtathebest4ever
The Getaway planned for the PS3 was scrapped, wasn't it? Yes, unfortunately. But I had a feeling it was gonna be. The games than end up being scrapped have some kind of special look to them.

Mark
FF7 I think games like this would be a real feat to Next-Generize. Seriously, what was it, 3-discs on the PS? Would be incredible as hell to see though. I remember all the buzz when the intro cutscene was done on the PS3 engine. Looked fantastic. That gave me a sweep of nostalgia. Felt so good seeing all the Midgar lights and the train bit where it cuts to and away from it. I'm with you guys on this one. Best story ever mixed with next gen graphics? We have a winner! Only thing I've hated Square Enix for though...whoring out the VII universe with all these sh*tty spin-off games. Bah.
SIKKS66
Agree with the above. FF for the PS1 is the obvious choice really. I'm thinking FF13 isn't gonna live up to the ones of old...
blitsie
I would kill for a remake of Dungeon Keeper 2,just imagine how fun it would be to swat your next-gen minions with your next-gen disembodied hand and then forcing them to work on the next-gen walls while your next-gen monsters are having a disco night at your next-gen casino. *searches for old copy of DK2*

Don Garcia
Before my old movie theater was shut down, I used to love playing a few rounds of Time Crisis in the arcade area. Great stuff. Ahem, anyone remember the awesome Die Hard trilogy game on the PS?
FullMetal
Oh jeez great, thanks for making me nostalgia. I played Die Hard alot on the PS1 at my nephews house. Actually a really fun game now that I look back! Pretty hard too (but that could also be because I barely up to never played videogames at the time... heck I only played videogames at my friend's house or at my nephew's home. My parents didn't allow gaming consoles and such (they look down on gaming and still do for some reason).

FullMetal
COD 4 next gen. Call of Duty/United Offensive remade (updated graphics and added extra content and such). Reconite
"Hai guise, I can haz remake?" COD 4 next gen. I think this topic was more geared towards old games. The game is absolutely fine, I don't see why COD4 would need a remake already, it's the dumbest thing i've ever heard. What you should be looking at is maybe Call of Duty 1 or 2... but 4? And graphics matter... why? They're not even 3 years old, people like you would probably get retarded from playing a NES game. Seriously dude. By the way, the words "Next-Gen" mean next generation, as in; the next line of consoles. Not current consoles, they are current-gen. Calling the Xbox 360 or the PS3 "Next-Gen" is really quite idiotic when you think about it. Xbox, Playstation 2 and Gamecube are last-gen. Xbox 360, Playstation 3 and Wii are current-gen. (Theoretical names:) Xbox 720, Playstation 4 and Wii 2 are next-gen. And the graphics have absolutely nothing to do with it. Basically, you're asking for remakes. One of those little things that have always bugged me when people refer to current-gen consoles as "Next-Gen".
