Speaking of guns, this is a killer:

Talk about tearing someone apart...

I suppose you use that one on yourself Ms. Snake?

dont you juuust wish. p.s. cool pirate avatar and sig, captain

Well that would all depend on your relative attractiveness.

But in all seriousness. I can't really tell how large that thing is... I've got nothing to compare it too in the picture. It looks as if though it's one of those oversized giant dildos. Like the kind that are 18 inches long by 10inches around.

...and to be completely honest with you, those comically huge toys make me feel a little inadequate. I admittedly don't have a dick the size of a horse. Sucks being human I guess. So it aint really my bag.

But thanks for the compliment on the sig & avatar... I do indeed love my pirates. I made the image myself out of a combination of different ones. So I used already esisting art for the skull, a different one for the hat, and a different one for the swords and I arranged them all together like that. So at least its semi unique.

According to that ebay account its 15 inches. Pretty much a horse cock. And why do you compare yours to a dildo. They are f*cking dodgy. I didnt know rubber was hot.

And it is quality, man. Good job. And i salute you for loving pirates. I like to pretend I am a captain. Call me gay, I am proud of owning a pirates flag (about 150x50) and many other pirate-y things.

Back to guns, woah missiles!

And is it true that you can easily get a gun in America? I mean, i dont know but clearly a lot of people own guns.

The laws vary a lot by state but in many the basics are 18 years old for a rifle or shotgun, 21 for a handgun, and a clean criminal record. Firearms dealers have to be licensed. You can't get anything fully automtic without a federal license which aren't widely held. Rifles with barrel lengths under 16 inches or shotguns with barrel lengths of under 18 inches are also restricted licensed individuals. Fierearms are progressively becoming more restricted. A few states have bans on things as such as magazines with higher than 10 round capacities or ammunition designed for personal defense.

Thats interesting. To be honest, It's a bit mental if you ask me unless you live in a messed-up neighbourhood. Bullt weapons are sweet, for no killing purposes. well, unless its a videogame, then HELL YES IS IT.

Violent crime can occur anywhere. It may seem as though it will never happen to you but it might. The dispositon of thinking of firerarms as offensive weapons is most likely induced by media portrayal of firearms as being only used by criminls. Of course firerams most likely aren't allowed for personal defense in your country.

This is true, however, other violent crimes aren't as easy as moving your index finger.

Say a man was 20 feet away from you, standing still. He has a knife pointed in your direction. Are you scared?

Now replace that knife with a gun. confused.gif

I'm not saying ban guns. I almost envy American citizens for being able to carry concealed firearms. I am a gun enthusiast, however I live in the wrong country to exercise my enthusiasm. Actually, I wish Canada would change their gun laws, I'm going to be a police officer in a couple years after college, and would prefer if people carried (provided it's legal and they aren't a nutcase), because self defense will take you a lot farther than calling and waiting for the police. They try to be everywhere, but they can't be.

Most training considers anyone with a knife within 21 feet of you more likely to kill you even if you had a firearm. Stabbings end in fatalities much more often than shootings. This thread is getting too off topic, better leave it to what it was created for. Edited by Teqila

This is actually cool to see another point of view. You are right in many levels, Tequila. But i am not 100% sure in this statistics...isnt America one of the top countries facing murders? And actually, yes. The only reason why i've seen a gun is because my father was a chief of police.

And like i said you are right, it has saved many people's lives. And I agree with Kajun, calling police for help might harm oneself. You can't wait in such situations.

But still, i do feel safer knowing guns are banned.

Soon to be purchasing a Winchester .357 Carbine.

Last weekend I went with my pop's to a local carbine shoot, that were a mix of .357 and .44. Got a chance to try one out with an aimpoint, which was pretty cool.

Guy's selling it along with a reloading kit for £200.

Bump

DC v Heller went in the favor of the gun owners and the 2nd amendment. 5-4

Small excerpt.

The Second Amendment protects an individual right to possess a firearm unconnected with service in a militia, and to use that arm for traditional lawful purposes, such as self-defense within the home.

I'm a happy boy!

If the bans in New York and Chicago are found unconstitutional, there won't be any bans like those after that. Edited by Teqila

I can't believe it was only 5-4. During the verbal arguments it sounded almost like it would be 7-2 or better. But then I suppose the dissenters don't want any rights and stuff getting in the way of their precious Interstate Commerce clause. Some of the mental gymnastics required to reach their conclusion were simply astounding.

And just think. If Gore or Kerry (or Obama..) had nominated Justices in place of Bush, it would have gone the other way. I can almost forgive the man for the whole Iraq mess now.

But, yea, I hear followup suits are being prepped for Chicago and NYC as we speak. happy.gif

The ruling may not have an affect for any city outside of D.C., Illy. When I argued this case (on the side of Heller) for a college class, there is a basis for excluding the District of Columbia because it is not an incorporated city inside of a state.

No, the decision for D.C doesn't affect anywhere else, but the ruling has opened the door for lawsuits from organizations like the NRA against other cities that have similar bans. This is where the decision reaches out to the states.

I heard on National Public Radio this morning that the NRA is suing San Francisco for the handgun ban.

In my opinion, the ban is an obvious intrusion of the citizens' right to bear arms and I'm glad the NRA is stepping in and suing them. Does the United States Constitution mean anything anymore these days? The US was founded on the beliefs of the constitution. Every man has his or her own right to bear arms, and what is going on in San Francisco is an breech to the citizens' constitutional rights.

I'm fairly certain a true full-auto assault rifle costs over $1500 plus a $200 federal tax. You also need a federal firearms license to own one and register the firearm with the ATF. Most states allow the ownership of FAs with the proper licensing. Unless you meant a semi-auto assault rifle clone like an AR-15 (M4) or WASR (AK47). Assault rifle clones are treated like any other semi-auto rifle in most states and you need to be only 18. You need to be 21 to acquire an FFL.

No, you don't.

It is a common misconception that an individual must have a "Class 3 License" in order to own NFA weapons. This is not the case. One must only have a Class 3 license (more properly known as an 03 SOT) to buy and sell NFA weapons as a business. Individual owners do not need any license under the NFA to buy Title II weapons. However, the purchase and sale of NFA weapons is heavily taxed and regulated, as follows.

Also: AR-15s and AK-47s are platforms. An M4 is a build style for the AR15 platform. A WASR is a certain imported AK. They're not necessarily "clones".

Everyone loves gun porn. I just wish I could find a cheap USB cord for my camera, my rifles are collecting dust right now, I could at least take some pictures of them.

Oh yeah, I forgot to ask, how much did you shell out on that Kalishnikov?

$300. It was a pretty good deal at the time. I just wish x39 wasn't so f*cking expensive down here.

Damn. My D&W .357 was even more expensive than that, and it's not even in that good of condition.

Is it semi-auto, or select fire?

There are about 10 different select-fire weapons I would purchase before an NFA AK. This one is a stock WASR-10 semi. At least I got the 30 round doublestacks on it.

Taste Of Chaos

I just bought myself a Beretta 92fs air pistol. Semi auto and holds 8 rounds. Here is it with safety on, slide shut and cylinder bay shut. Box of 500 pellets and 2 Mags.

Here it is again with the cylinder bay open, safety off and slide open.

Second hand and all for £99. Excuse me if I'm wrong but that seems like a pretty f*ckin' sweet deal to me.

Well, thanks for the helpful feedback. Just wanted an answer.

I thought it would suit here better than the airsoft topic. Or should I bump that one too? wink.gif

Firearms and airguns are far from similar. It would indeed be better suited to the airsoft topic, since this topic is only applicable to you if your pellet gun somehow uses gunpowder to launch the pellets at the intended target.

Oh, and if you wanted an answer, why didn't you ask a question?

How do those things fire? Is the recoil sutble or pretty crazy as portrayed in the media?

I wouldn't know how machine guns fire, I've fired plenty of rifles and a Magnum 357 thoug.

It's not full auto. The recoil on x39 is more than manageable, but then again I must have put 1500 rounds through this thing in a weekend. If you're firing from the hip and just spraying, then you won't hit sh*t. Aimed shots (even for a "inaccurate weapon system") always win, though. I think the best group I ever shot was maybe 4-5 MOA, but it's probably capable of better with a bench rest or optics.

Was waiting for this topic to creep back up... I'm to lazy to search. tounge.gif

Anyway, timing couldn't be better because I just bought a Millet DMS-1 scope

recommended to me by several ppl on my gun forum as well as ARFCOM.

I'm very impressed with it and the price was right. The glass is very clear

the red "dot in a donut" is sharp & crisp. Its easy to acquire the target with both eyes

open on 1x and even possible to do so on 4x. Thing was zero'd out of the box for the most

part. I have to say millet has a winner here. Affordable quality product, backed by lifetime warranty, will buy again.

Fallow these link's for porn.
