sd13killer
I really dont understand these people who make something up and then go to all the trouble of creating an image to somehow "make it true". I mean a jokes a joke, and if it was somebody trying to pusuade otheres to get on board with there opionion then that I could kind of see the point of that. But why the hell would someone just write POOP! What is he 12? It was just a joke... it took five minutes for me to make that joke so... whatever... I'm not twelve... I didnt mean to persuade anyone... hahaha... thats why it says poop... so there wasn't someone so gullible as to believe it...
supermortalhuman
Yea, it's probably more like a path to there, without the north and south extremes or something. Your joke was funny sd1 IMO - it pissed me off a little at first, then I realized I was taking this too serious It was very funny, very meme imo however, Fozz is right, when people REALLY try to trick people it's horrible
najtrows
Take a look here 2 Days to Vegas is a third-person action-adventure game about a recently released convict named Vinny who must help his younger brother Tony, who is in trouble in Las Vegas. Over the course of 48 hours, players will journey across America, stopping at major cities on their way to Las Vegas. So far, the confirmed locations include New York and Las Vegas.[3] http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/2_Days_to_Vegas Very, VERY impressive game in its scope - to deliver it will be a hard promise to accomplish. @najtrows, the poster BEHIND the tear can be seen in the sex shops and other places - it is an ad for "Vesuvius Citrate", bearing the initials VC. I think they showed that part to throw us off and see if we found the rest of the image yeah i know that, but it looks "taken out of context" more SA than anything else. and alot of people said "it looks like a palmtree" or "i cant make anything out of this!" that was what i got tired of
DX2069
but people are also saying its hinting to VC aswell, we can't have both.. (or can we ) there is no hills in florida and there isnt pine trees so i dont understand what ppl are talking about when they are saying that it will be in vice because of that pic it looks nothing like vice if anything it hints at san andreas

There's a Western game in the works for next spring, and the next GTA to think of. “We'll think of a city first, then the characters,” says Houser. The script he will end up co-writing will run to around 1,000 pages, nearly ten times as much as a feature film."

The script he will end up co-writing will run to around 1,000 pages, nearly ten times as much as a feature film." You better read this : There is one thing I'd like to clarify, however: the interview barely touches on the next Grand Theft Auto installment, so don't expect any groundbreaking revelations about the upcoming title. Despite what you may have read elsewhere, Houser doesn't tell The Times that the Rockstar team haven't picked a location for GTA V. From the (misleading) MCV article: However, the exec has told The Times that he hasn’t even thought of a City to set the game in yet – let alone a plot. Quote from The Times: As for the boys themselves, they are already back at work. There's a Western game in the works for next spring, and the next GTA to think of. “We'll think of a city first, then the characters,” says Houser. The script he will end up co-writing will run to around 1,000 pages, nearly ten times as much as a feature film. Needless to say, it's a bit of a stretch to assume that work hasn't begun on the next Grand Theft Auto title based on a single statement. And let's not forget that it's been over a year since GTA IV was released to the masses. The likelihood of an upcoming GTA sequel not being in production is very, very slim. The source Dan Houser was talking about the moment they start to think about the next GTA after GTA IV was launched , which means Rockstar has cut long road in developing the city ( They have already chosen the city ) , the story and the characters . Anyway , the picture still shows nothing , it's just to inform us that the next setting will be a very big SURPRISE .
Cojage
Yeah I read that interview too. Dunno what to believe from R* to be honest, they lied before you know. But the picture could also mean that it's going to be in Vice City(obviously the VC initials), but completely redesigned, just like the new LC, and that the game will be so good that it is going to blow our minds. bluesboyjr
Anyway , the picture still shows nothing , it's just to inform us that the next setting will be a very big SURPRISE . I think there's even less to it then that. R* is most likely saying "Ha! You were looking for a clue but you found a giant penis!" That, or they just chose a random advert. And, Superfantasticmortalhumandude, you said that the poster tricked people into laughing at the phallus shape when the 'real' clue was the VC in the name. Then how do you know that the VC wasn't also a trick to put people off the fact the poster also appears on a church alongside an advert for Rimmers (clothing brand from SA) and a camera advert featuring a screenshot of Los Santos? It is odd, though, how the simple Viagra ad from the porn shop is hidden both under the manual poster and mosaic'd on the church...
DanManUtd
Vesuvius Citrate -> VC? Seriously, what? That evidence proves nothing. Hell, there's a place called Mollis is Switzerland! GTA:Switzerland FTW!
supermortalhuman
Yes well MOLLIS (pronounced Molleys) are PILLS (without the ad, MOLLIS are PILLS) and they will play a big role in Vice City. Vesuvius Citrate is the hint, VC is the hint, those trees are indeed shaping a V and C - on purpose or not - the ad was hinted to on purpose though, and it was named Vesuvius Citrate on purpose and I would really like it if people would stop being so daft to think we are stupid when it is most certainly a hint and more than just a wild goose chase or joke - it IS the next location as it should be. You know, when you DO play the next Vice City, you'll stop complaining and you'll see how sh*tty the first one was (and it was sh*tty) When houser said "we are now finally making the game we wanted to since GTA 1" that INCLUDES Vice and San Andreas, just as GTA 1 included those places. Wasted space? Not with Episodes. San Andreas was SUPPOSED to get expansions and episodes - it didn't - the market wasn't thee, but the TECH was there and modders can make their own episodes for San Andreas without modding the core game by using the episodic interface for san andreas "MPACK" They made just as many mistakes in Vice and San in other areas of production as they did on the map in Liberty City. The map is fixed in Liberty, that level of detail will translate to the other games. Empire Building will actually have a purpose in Vice City this time, and thanks to episodes, "wasted space" is no-more in San Andreas. I am happy they are staying TRUE to what GTA is and not just doing new places. New places really wouldn't make sense and would only remove from the quality of the way GTA is really just TV's depiction of real life. Not real life, but what TV says it is - TV everyone sees - American TV. Edited November 26, 2009 by supermortalhuman

It's not the fact I didn't like Vice City, I liked it ('cept Tommy). It's the fact what else are we supposed to do? Another 80s Vice City? Or a modern one, which frankly would be boring and considering what I'd imagine you'd set the story round; there are far, far better places.
