chigi111
Well I am planning to sell my psp and games to buy and xbox 360. I have figured that if i sell everything it will go to 70 quid, which is a rip off! But i really want an xbox! But heres the problem! The psp works absolotuley fine , all the games are working very nicely! Everything is good but a small problem is that under the R button, a small bit of plastic has been chipped and i am worried that they may not take it in..or they will reduce the price drastically. I just want to know if this do anything! I am going to them on Sunday but i would like to know before hand so that i don't waste a trip! Rebel
Personally a lot of game stores really do give you sh*t prices on things you usually exchange in to them, you should really consider selling your PSP and the games on ebay, you'll get way more than £70 for selling it on ebay. I know, but thats not thing i am worried about. i am worried about the plastic being broken, it doesnt make a difference and all to the psp working. Tommy Dickfingers
I wouldn't take it to CEX, they'll rip you off, probably offer you in the £30-£40 region then sell it for atleast double. I sold a PSP on Ebay recently with 9 games, got £113 for it. Just make sure you highlight the fact it has a small chip in it so the buyer is aware beforehand. Rebel
Exactly if you put down in the description that it has a bit of the plastic broken from around a button its still going to sell better than what you'd get it for at a game store. Blackadder.
As long as this small chip in the plastic doesn't affect how it works, just sell it on eBay as a 'Slightly Worn Sony PSP' and note the problem in the details if it affects your conscence that much. It's then there problem for not reading the fineprint. Link to comment https://gtaforums.com/topic/430152-cex-a-gaming-shop/#findComment-1059590932 Share on other sites

james227uk
Ebay is the best However if you insist on selling games at a store NEVER sell them at a game station. Seriously, traded in a relatively new PS2 game, and I got 5p for it. I'd look at some auctions already going on for PSP slims with games and then just adjust the price accordingly for how many items you're going to be putting with it. I'd also put a reserve price on it so it will go for the amount you want.
