Episodes from Vice City

Downloadable Content / Episodic Content is a new facet of gaming these days but R* could have implemented it years ago with it's GTA PC port's.

 

If R* made DLC for the PC version for Vice City (or even if they ported VCS) I would safely say it would have been a smashing success and sold a couple of million, but if you were to decide on the DLC:

 

1) Who would you want to play as a protagonist?

2) What would be the storyline?

3) Who would be the antagonist?

4) What special side-missions etc would you add?

5) What new vehicles/weapons would you add?

6) Would you change anything in the environment (i.e palm trees, weather)

For example:

 

A made man from Liberty comes down to Vice to avenge the death of Sonny Forelli under orders from Giorgio Forelli.

 

or

 

A cuban refugee escapes to Vice City via cargo boat and becomes a hitman for hire making enemies as he goes along.

Following GTA IV's example, it would be nice to see Vice City nowadays, though personally I find it dangerous, as it may tarnish my perfect image on Vice's atmosphere.

 

So, other than getting Vice up to date engine, graphics and feature-wise, I'd say we could draw another parallel, this time to San Andreas, and incarnate a low time thug, born in his mother's living room in Little Havana and watch him ascend into control. Would be plenty of fun becoming a drug baron in today's Vice, a modern metropolis with a better equipped police and a very wealth neatly distributed into the very rich.

Graphics are very low, scripts is damn sh*t too, what you want? If DLC would be for VCS, it'd be so awesome!

Now now, we're just speculating, killing time between releases and reminiscing about one of our favourite games. Nothing more.
