CHECK END OF POST.

----------------------

Thanks for downloading Extreme Graphics and Realism Enhancement.

Current version is EGRE v2.85

You don't need Extreme Graphics Enhancement 2.0 nor previous versions in order to make this mod work, however, it is convenient.

This mod is a graphics enhancer, tweaking several mods.

The only files here that are not mine are the clothes and I got the respective permission from each modder:

HERE'S THE MESSAGE I SENT THEM AT THROUGH GTAFORUMS PM SYSTEM:

"Hi.

I made a mod called Extreme Graphics and Realism Enhancement and I though I could include some new clothes packed in the player.rpf file to share with the most people we can, so, I'd like to ask you for permission to let me include some of your clothes in that file of my mod. The mod contains several more files, and I'd like you to give me permission.

I'll be waiting for an answer, hopefully positive,

respectfully,

Ricardo Estevez."

EACH ANSWER:

DrDean answered:

"Yeah. Sure, go ahead."

simkas answered:

"Sure, go ahead."

polodave answered:

"Yes, I give you my permission.

Take the skins that you want. smile.gif

There is no problem smile.gif

and do not forget to add credits in readme file. Thank you.

Greetings. Polodave "

(by the way, all the respective credits are there )

AxeLite answered:

"Of course I give my permission.

All my mods are free!

Thanks for asking."

Plus, this version of the mod made by me, from scratch, so stop the insults and the threads locking. Therefore, there are no reasons to complain from anyone. The files are made by me (no stolen files from nobody, and the credits are there).

Here are the components of the mod so far:

Changelog:

In v1.0:

- Improves vehicles' handling, damage, physics and details

- Improves weapons characteristics (strengh, accuracy, textures, damage, visual effects, explosions and icons)

- A bunch of new clothes (see credits for them at the end of this text)

- New colored radio hud

- Improves visual effects, time cycling and weather conditions (better raining, clouds, etc)

- Better reflections

- Smoother shadows

- Improved effects (smoke, dirt, explosions, bullet holes, rain, leaves, dust)

- Better blood and pedestrian/player damage

- More realistic population and traffic density

- Improved vehicle spawning variety and colors

- Better draw distance

- Improved textures

- Improved vegetation and fences

- Better motion of blur and depth of field (quite reduced)

- And more...

In v2.0:

- Improved shadows

- Changed some weather properties

- Changed cargrp.dat

- Fixed some minor bugs

In v2.8:

- Mod name changed to Extreme Graphics and Realism Enhancement once I changed more things than graphical system (also changed weapons properties, clothes, etc - this should be the starting name of the mod, but nevermind)

- Removed the ASI Loader (dsound.dll), FileCheckFix (filecheckfix.asi) and Scripthookdotnet.asi files so people can stop blaming me about the game crashing at start up or any time, once this is not my fault but Alexander Blade's duty to fix those problems

- Extremely improved the blood and projects textures (looks sweet, now) tounge.gif

- Improved the textures on vegetation and fences (plus some more environmental properties)

- Changed handling.dat configuration according to my previous mod Realistic Vehicle Damage so now cars have realistic handling and damage system

- Edited once more the vehicles.ide and cargrp.dat files

- Fixed a bug on view distance (things looked blurry sometimes and landscape took quite much time spawning and drawing itself)

- Removed the commandline.txt file (that file was an extra for low-end pc's and people with good pc's where using it by mistake so the game was weird - removed the file, fixed the problem)

- Added a changelog.txt file on the .rar so you can check the changes from version to version

- Worked on corona lights (headlights and taillights) - also worked on every light in the game (from environmental light [sun] to nightlight [buildings and lamps])

I took new screens of the mod and made a new video (trailer) called Extreme Graphics and Realism Enhancement ~ Trailer which I will post on YouTube as soon as I can.

Download Extreme Graphics and Realism Enhancement 2.86 [PATCH FOR v2.85] here, please.

It's a patch, so you still need Extreme Graphics and Realism Enhancement 2.85 for this mod to work at all.

- rage_postfx.fxc file was added

- Installation tutorial is now correct and complete

Sorry about that, guys :x

Finally you got permissions.

If those are real  sly.gif

Go f*ck yourself.

Guys, no flaming. As advice, in order to prevent accuses like this, it's better to upload screenshots of the permissions, and not only the text, as some people might not believe it. Use the site I gave you and upload the proof, so you won't be accused of stealing. smile.gif

You didn't need to use the camera for the screenshots, only Print Screen + Paste in Paint, and then upload it. But that is a proof, great. alien.gif

Well, I tried that with Paint but it was quite stupid. Nevermind. Here are more screens:

Hope you like it smile.gif

Awesome screenshots! It will sure need a hell of a graphic card! wink.gif

Who knows tounge.gif

My graphics card isn't that good, though, that's why I made this mod. Still, I have to use a specific commandline.txt I made for myself so I can use up all the memory in my PC to play the game at high FPS and nice graphics smile.gif

Pics too smal! Need bigger. And eah in bmp. And 100 of them in one page. It so useful!

Seriously, what is wrong with you people? wow.gif

Too small?! Wtf?!

Here! And don't bother me with such gay things -.-

Ah come on. Photoshop? FFS, make pictures without photoshop...

Dude, I only used Photoshop to edit TEXTURES in the game, not screenshots. The screens are untouched, it's just the bloom effect of the mod, the contrast on my pc and the saturation I use. All personal settings which you can use at your pc too. smile.gif btw, if you are who I think you are, I'm a big fan of yours tounge.gif

looks fantastic!

if it can be combined with Environment Mod and VisualIV... or it's already combined?

well, in the first version I tried to do that. I've combined and edited at my own taste to try to reach the best conclusion of the combination of all those mods. Unfortunately, I was told that was stealing and several topics were locked because of that. So I started the v2.0 where I made everything different and from scratch. Once again I was denied and locked and ridiculous reasons where given to me. So in this version, I got all the permissions of the files that are not mine and redid almost everything again (check the changelog to see the changes).

So now this is a clean fresh version of the mod so nobody can accusate me of stealing or such things.

Therefore, answering to your question, no, I won't combine those mods. As a matter of facts, I will not combine any mod. Sorry, pal, forum's rules.

Well that Depth of Field clearly looks strange. On the left there's DoF on the right, you can only see DoF in the distant, those bump maps look strange, and picture of the house look modified.

(anyway if you think about Rob Zombie the singer (and movie producer bla bla biggrin.gif) then I'm not)
