Dvt-MedShot
If it's on the disc how is it DLC? Its Disc Only Content not DLC. Anyway it's pretty cool that theres a bit of an incentive to buy the disc version, I won't be getting the disc as I already have Lost and Damned on DLC but i'm not too fussed about an extra radio station. Pretty cool? Pretty Cool?! How could they do this?? They just want to have more and more money! Stupid s*ckers!
BebopR0CKSTEADY
I think it is stupid how Rockstar has gone about tell people that the radio station is an exclusive to people buying Episodes from Liberty City Disc a week before the DLC comes out. They should have told people earlier that it was getting an exclusive radio station earlier. Plus Rockstar should understand that the people who brought the Lost and Damned when it came out are going to be mad because most of them are big GTA fans. So those fans will take this added radio station as "The Finger” to them because they feel that the real fans are getting screwed. P.S. Fernando rocks! Mod Note :- The user was banned for 8 days which means he will miss the little TBoGT party on here, posting absolute crap like this on the board is unacceptable - cc You retard. The fact that I earn my money by working hard for it makes it even more galling that they're asking for more money just for a goddamn radio station. It's not the magnitude of the amount they're asking for; I can easily afford it. It's the principle.

CharmingCharlie
I have to admit I am pretty shocked that there are a couple of people here actually defending this . This is a total kick in the nuts to those people that paid for TLaD and invested in Rockstars DLC idea. Not to mention keeping this information back till 1 week before launch after people have arranged their MS points already so are locked into the DLC version. I am really beginning to think some people will let these companies get away with anything. I mean sure at the moment it is just a radio station, but hey if they can get away with this then why not something bigger in the future ? Diesel311
Exactly charlie, hit it right on the head. I shouldn't have to drop $40 just to have everything exclusive. Some of us have been along for the entire ride.
FearTheLiving
There is only one way I see this working and that's if they let you get the radio station after you've downloaded both DLCs. I've been thinking and it seems this is there incentive to get you to spend $40 for the disk so it would only be fair if they gave you the extra stuff after you've paid for both. I can accept that. Pumpkin Zone
Below you'll find info and preview mixes from a first selection of station updates, with more to be updated very soon... See, here's the major problem. If they make one radio station unique to the disc, then whose to say they won't be updating saying 'HERES MORE STUFF YOU CAN'T GET.' I supported Rockstar. Bought TLAD the morning it came out. I even bought my points for BoGT about a week ago, and then they pull this. Whoever is defending this.. really? Really? I've paid 40 dollars (TLAD and BOGT) and people who pay the exact same as me get more than what I got? What the f*ck is that sh*t?
CookPassBabtridge
Yeah we can just hope they see sense and update the DLC. I dont know what kind of trip R* are on this gen, but pissing PS3 owners AND 360 owners off is just uncalled for. Sadly, it would only take the whole franchise to dissapear up its own arse to stop them doing it, which probably wont happen soon.

Also like i stated before it's just a radio station.....3/4 of the people complaining probably wouldn't even listen to the station anyway. Plus i have TLaD but i pre ordered the disc,i did this because i prefer to have something i know will be with my years down the road even after the next xbox has come an gone. Nico Bellic
buying the disk is actually the same as downloading the game from Xbox LIVE if you talk about the game itself, but it costs more money because Tlad is included too...well i think its fair that they give something that makes the disk a little bit different from the ordinary download ,whats the big deal anyway ,boohoo one radio station that somebody is not gonna get in the game but in 1 week he will have it for download via internet on hes PC...chill out
DeLMrcs
Still the point remains that those who bought TLAD and secured points for TBOGT are still getting screwed over in a sense. Personally I don't care, from what I've heard of the radio (granted its only three tracks) the station is nothing impressive and I can gladly ignore it. What really irks me though is Vladivostok FM, one of my favorite radio stations in GTA IV and like LCHC its something entirely different. Plus, like Charlie said, it may be just a "radio station" but who is to say that R* won't pull off a move like this in the future and take away something much more important (vehicles, missions, weapons, etc...). I agree with this post, make the station available on DLC too but ONLY if the gamertag has both TLAD and TBOGT purchased. Sega have done this with their Arcade games, Sonic & Knuckles has the old Lock On feature BUT it will only lock on to other games if they appear as bought on your ganertag. So if you bought Sonic 3, Sonic & Knuckles but didn't buy Sonic 1 or 2 then you'd only be able to get Sonic 3 & Knuckles on the bonus menu, but if you bought Sonic 1 and 2 then Blue Sphere and Knuckles in Sonic 2 would also appear on the bonus menu. Rockstar could use this and only have the Radio Station appear if both TLAD and TBOGT appear as purchased.
CookPassBabtridge
The other point is, R* and MS didnt give a sh*t about episodes on disc until they probably saw TLAD fell short on sales. None of us who paid for TLAD had a choice back then, it was download only. So why they have the cheek to start arsing people around is beyond me. I wish the whole exclusivity bollocks would end and quickly. Or at least it needs some kind of industry watchdog to steer it off this greed trail. ChrisAndy
I just want to be sure I understand this correctly-The Vice City sounds is only available on the Disc version? They're going to snub the people who paid $20 for Lost and Damned and downloaded it? They expect them to pay an additional $20 to get the game again? How greedy is R*??? I don't think they realize most people would rather just buy the next game then pay another $40 for added stuff that barely lasts.
Schweppez
Im going to give R* a piece of my mind on the comments section. A exclusive within an exclusive??? It just doesn't make ANY sense. The only thing i can think of WHY they would do this is to give EFLC more sales, since i'm guessing most people will download TBoGT anyways. Maybe its just a temporary thing? And later on the radio station would be available for download. If that's the case, just watch how microsoft will try to charge us MS points. It'll be like that Left 4 Dead's crash course DLC, it's free for PC users, but 360 users have to pony up some MS points to download it. This kind of actions of bafoonery is exactly the kind of stuff GTA parodies all the time.... Shame on you R*, shame on you. No biggie though, it just bothers me a tiny bit. I have a bad feeling this is just the beginning of "exclusive" bullcrap. Edited October 21, 2009 by Schweppez
Pumpkin Zone
Can we all just agree that them making the station Disc-Only is a stupid move, and that we should all find someway to contact R* formally and resolve this issue instead of getting so butthurt about everything? From the people who browse this forum who don't have 360, to the people who are pissed off that the station isn't in the game.. just calm the f*ck down. We don't want R* pulling this sort of thing on anymore people, so we just need to try to be calm. I like the idea of it 'unlocking' if you have TLAD and BOGT downloaded on your 360. That would make sense.

Cilogy
I guess it proves that "good things come to those how wait." I had to chain myself to my bed to keep me from buying TLAD, now look where we are, getting EFLC will pay off.

CookPassBabtridge
Agreed, if its unlocked then fine. But as Shcweppez says, trust MS to make us pay some more points for it. Or, R* will announce tomorrow they have an exclusive station for download customers, which will no doubt be twice as sh*t as anything else in IV. People have a right to be mad though, nobody asked for this exclusivity nonsense, we just wanna pay and play. But the exact same content.
