problems with adding a new map mod

one other reason the game crashes on the SA loadbar is whenever you have missing or wrongly named colfiles wink.gif

 

but as X-Seti mentions, if the objects are existing game models, you do not need to use an IDE entry for them.

 

one final thing, if you're adding new models to the game, there is a 5 object limit with a stock install of SA.

 

Those IPL objects already exist in the game IDEs.

 

You do not need the extra IDE file or IDE dat file entry.

 

I would remove this from the gta.dat and just keep the ipl line smile.gif

But I thought you don't need to create new colfiles for objects that already exist in the game?

 

Well the game works normal when I remove both lines, adding only the *.IPL line crashes the game too
