Magic_Al
Australian Government Classifications are up The Lost and Damned: MA 15+ Strong violence, sex scenes, coarse language, nudity and drug references The Ballad of Gay Tony: MA 15+ Strong violence, sex scenes, drug use and coarse language Unique: TLAD has nudity and drug references. TBOGT has drug use. Assuming the ESRB doesn't see different content than the Australians, the rating description on the latest trailer must be for Episodes from Liberty City and describes the content of the entire disc, not just TBOGT. Ash_735
GTA IV has drug use to, I don't think anyone is actually shown taking drugs in The Lost and Damned, just after it with characters like Ashley. Ronmar The Only
If someone really wants female nudity (maybe a few want male nudity too, but I doubt that is the prevailing wish of the GTA players) they should just get Heavy Rain whenever it comes out this winter. Though, that I might be a little difficult given it is on the PS3 for some users. Anyways, who cares? Magic_Al
yes it is. it said it on the trailer, and this stupid austrailian website has nothing on an official website trailer The Australian site is the first I know of to list the content of TBOGT separately from TLAD. From what I've read Australia is even more prudish than America about video games and you can bet if there was nudity in TBOGT it would be listed. Magic_Al
we wont know till we play the game, rating thing had the word Nudity just like TLAD so who knows WTF am I not explaining it right or is reading comprehension low here? The "Nudity" description was in the trailer because, even though there was only TBOGT footage in the trailer, the trailer is an advertisement for a disc that has TLAD on it, and TLAD has nudity. The ESRB requires ads to carry ratings that describe the product being sold, not what's in the trailer. Le Rusecue
GTA IV has drug use to, I don't think anyone is actually shown taking drugs in The Lost and Damned, just after it with characters like Ashley. actually at the beginning of Angels in America, everyone is passing around a tray that has cocaine on it, and, if memory serves, Jim gets some of it, and snorts it. This may not be entirely correct, though. Link to comment https://gtaforums.com/topic/428969-nudity-is-not-back/#findComment-1059565704 Share on other sites

andysniper
you do know that australia dont have any rating above a 15 i think. so games get edited to conform to that system. like there is no blood in the australian gta4, and you cant move the camera when you pick up a hooker. alot of m or 18 games get censored for release in australia, its just how it is. however i do kind of understand the fact that the trailer is for both tlad and bogt so its highly possible that the nudity applies to tlad only. Magic_Al
I recall there was some confusion about what was required to be censored in Australia. The console version of IV was censored but the PC version was uncensored. When TLAD was released, the patched 360 version became uncensored in Australia and accidentally censored in Europe. I don't know if Australia now has censored or uncensored on the 360 (with XBL patches). Does anyone know if the Games on Demand version is censored or not in Australia? Anyway, the Australian 15+ rating for TLAD lists nudity, so that means they allowed nudity in TLAD because it wouldn't be listed if it was censored. The Australian 15+ rating for TBOGT does NOT list nudity. That tells me the only possibility of nudity in TBOGT is if Australia did not censor it in TLAD but did censor it in TBOGT. shinsta312
TLAD had sex-scenes? Nope. Just 10 seconds of Thomas Stubb's "stubbiness". Nothing more. If there were actual sex scenes in TLAD, the game would've been given an "AO" Rating (US) by now. WAL575
nobody gives a sh*t about Australia and it stupid f*cking laws regarding everything can that government just get reformed already You're a dill champ! For a few reasons anyway. If, as you say, nobody gives a sh*t about Australia, why do you ask that our government get reformed already? I think our government, and especially our censorship laws need a fair bit of change. We need an R rating for games like GTA, so then it becomes illegal for children to play it. With all the bullsh#t about games influencing our up and coming generations, if an R rating was established, well, the adult gamers could get their moneys worth and the censors could do less censoring. megahypernova
the nudity in politics was brief and was added to be more of a joke than anything else, so its not really that bad the sex scenes probably just reference prostitute use Edited June 7, 2010 by megahypernova Link to comment https://gtaforums.com/topic/428969-nudity-is-not-back/#findComment-1059964630 Share on other sites
