shinsta312
1. Barrera said its the last episode But then again he said we never get to meet Bulgarin in GTA IV so I'd take anything he says with a pinch of salt. Not the pinch of salt quote again. Anyway, so you're just gonna take one little thing and make a big assumption that everything he says is a lie? And as for the last episode claim, it's pretty much backed up by the articles from USA Today and the other hands-on previews that have mentioned TBoGT being the last episode. aChaChaCha
The main highlight for me is to have the possible ability of choice during the storymode. It might just work like when u could choose between savin Roman from the tracksuit scum or go on yah first date with Michelle/Karen/Sammy?. Still that alone is another reason why the replay mission ability has got me so grateful
kgrogfefji82
I loved the episode! Man it finally, for once f*cking confirmed the silenced p90 100% I mean it's been strongly hinted before but now we heard it in action and f*ck yeah Looks amazing and now I just cannot wait anymore

She has 'rags to worse rags' written all over her.
buffalosoulj4h20
I'm glad this is the last episode. After 3 f*cking stories and hours of multiplayer you basically look at every corner up the ass of this city. It gets boring, no exploration at all. New story, missions, weapons, and a new CITY is best. I look at Liberty City as a beta of what they can really do for the next location. I just hope they don't stop making DLCs though, they are good at that for sure.
CookPassBabtridge
^ Kind of agree with that, but more from the story point of view. Seems a shame to leave this map with so much unused space. A new Vice City is needed IMO, or just somewhere with some variation, like a chunk of SA.
buffalosoulj4h20
That space might be filled story wise with Tbogt, multiplayer wise, I don't know about you guys but I explored everywhere and it's getting boring/the same.
liquidus119
Good look at stuff, not much new info though. I really hope that FVH isn't the main bad guy and is only going to be in a few missions. Besides the fact that I hate his name (WTF was wrong with Claude Wombe?), it would seem really stupid to set him up as the main antagonist when they've made us hate Bulgarin since vanilla GTAIV came out a year and a half ago. Oh well, game will be good regardless.

I'm also intrigued by the "Explosive Finish" to the game that I've heard being mentioned more than once now... Any Ideas on what that could be? Something involving an explosion anyway. ChrisAndy
did they show gameplay and how was the gameplay and the graphics They showed no actual gameplay footage, but they showed a lot of new bits of different cutscenes. Also, there are going to be more race tracks and nitrous is going to play a big part in multiplayer racing now. The parachute has a really cool, realistic look as it opens as well. There was lots of footage of Luis shooting the Heavy MG and the Assault SMG. Bulgarin was also kicking ass with him as well. There was AWESOME footage of the Yacht sinking with people hanging on the railings and screaming as it lifted and sunk Titanic style. New cinematic footage of Luis blasting boats with the Buzzard as well. Most of the cutcenes were really just from the trailers... not much new material was really shown or discussed, this is intended more for people who don't really know that much about the game rather than those who consume all the information as soon as it comes out. Nightwing 0613
Geoff: Jeronimo, there's been a lot of talk about this DLE and wether it is the final episode for Grand Theft Auto IV. Are you guys gonna do more of these or this it? Jeronimo:This is it. Geoff: Your breaking off from Liberty City? Jeronimo: We're calling it quits. Geoff: How does it feel? You've been working on this for years and years inside Liberty City. Are you glad to be finally putting it to bed. Jeronimo: Well no, there's still so much we can explore. Geoff: Is it more of a development challenge? Because you can keep doing these downloadable episodes for years. How do you make that desicion between how many to do and when to move on to the next game. Jeronimo: Well it's based on how we feel and how our fans would feel about it. I think it's time to move on. Geoff: The fans want a 3rd one! If they start writing letters and start twittering you Jeronimo, will you reconsider? Jeronimo: We always love fan mail. Geoff: But you got something else hot cooking up right? Jeronimo: Mouth off at Rockstargames.com What do you guys think about a 3rd one being made IF the fans start requesting one? CookPassBabtridge
Something inbetween to play around on would be cool until the next full game, but Id rather it be downloadable assets, such as new safehouses, cars, other interiors and things to do. Hard to see where they could go after the two extremes of TLAD and TBOGT. Unless they really went nuts on the rich aspect, which im all for. woody242
Yeah BoGT is the final and probably the best one yet, but no more episodes, libertys done, its been fun but its time for a new city after. You realize that there won't be another full retail GTA game for a few years. I think the downloadeable episodes is the way to go until the next game is out. They could seriously crank out at least a few more out before the next GTA game.
buffalosoulj4h20
Creating another DLC in between the next game would just delay the official next game or give them a reason to. Companies now-a-days are delaying games like it's a new trend, maybe they did a study that delayed games somehow get more attention or whatever thn a non-delayed game, but it's annoying. Even if two teams are working on two different games they don't want them too close to each other's release date, thus delaying the full game for another year. 20+ missions in the same city is not worth causing a delay to me when I can get 60+ in a new city. ^^actually they can get a new one out at least by the end of next year. They have mastered the RAGE and Euphoria by now.
Rag
I personally think Rockstar is working on the next GTA, they would have already started work on it after GTA IV and maybe they want this to be the last DLC so they can get their people working on the next GTA. Didn't someone say that the next GTA would hit stores in October 2010? Something like that. Even if it was unconfirmed I think if Rockstar is smart they will release it in 2010, GTA IV caused a huge jump for GTA games and R* would want to keep that going. If they're going to create a city as detailed as Liberty City (and odds are they will attempt to make it bigger), it's going to take longer than a year to make. PhilipO43
I'm hoping there is one final DLC, even if it's just feature heavy, because Jeronimo even admitted there was so much more they can explore in LC. I know he stated it clearly that this as it, however Rockstar put 4 years into LC, and they still can get so much more out of it. And let's be honest here, they can milk one more DLC that is basically SA like feature rich, and it will sell in droves. Then they can pack vanilla IV with the 3 DLC's as a complete package to finish it all up. Rockstar can do 2 different IP here guys, that is surely not an issue, if they see there is more $$ left to be made with another DLC. One more thing, i doubt we will see a different GTA this generation, because the 360 is now 4 years old, and you know MS will be putting out a new Xbox by 2011'(possibly with Project Nadal included). And there is so much more Rockstar can do in a new DLC, such as car customization/perhaps some a plane or 2 to fly(say a sea plane or bi plane?), alot of areas that were shut off in all episodes such as the chinatown arcade and the fun fair, and other areas they never took advanatge of using. And there sure is alot of characters they can base another DLC off, from vanilla IV.

Gomez
It was cool seeing the new footage but there wasn't much info in that whole episode. It was just like last week's GTTV with MW2. Hardly any new information and every answer Geoff got was a sh*tty one cause they didn't want to reveal too much info. If a developer is going to do a GTTV episode maybe they should plan ahead and save some good content to release instead of it all being a big cock-tease or a retread of everything we've already seen.
