Enjoii
30 missions = 8-10 hours of gameplay?? They must be pretty short missions 8-10 hours is pretty decent, if it's accurate. TLAD had around 21-23 missions and you could go through the storyline in ~4hours. An increase of over 4 hours for around 8 missions sounds good to me. Of course, the figures depend on a lot of other stuff, but overall I would say that it's a pretty decent increase.

When I finished the GTA IV story line the first time it took me about 40 hours. That's around 90 missions and I wasn't rushing through it. I did some side missions but far from all. Guessing this will take 10-15 hours to complete if you play it like I did with GTA IV.

Besides, isn't all that "hours of gameplay" stuff just based on playing every mission back-to-back as fast as possible? If that's the case, you could just savor it & pace yourself as you play. Do side missions & explore in between missions.

I suppose if you tot up the figures 8-10 hours is pretty decent it just looks quite short. EDIT: The guy above me put it well... PearlHarborPants
Not sure how long they'll last though, you could run through TLAD in 3-4 hours. Obviously longer.... I'm going to be re-playing the missions over and over again.
Le Rusecue
That's the thing about this game, it would be okay to rush, since you can replay the missions.
Firefly8000
i wonder how we will find the apc in multiplayer, it'll have to be parked somewhere...... the attack helicopter (buzzard) will probaply replace the annhilators at helitours. im guessing either ASCF or the cop Parking lot place in algonquin will keep the apc Edited October 11, 2009 by Firefly8000

You know how the internet keeps up with news? Yeah, you will have to go to the internet cafe, access your inbox and pick the mail/mission you want to replay... These mail cant be deleted. Another way is find the news article that talks about what happened and there will be an option below to replay it but its going to be kinda hard to find it. Cilogy
I think I'm happiest that it has more missions than TLAD. I know this isn't going to happen, but now that we know parachutes will be online, it would have freakin' ridiculous (in a good way) if you could use weapons while sailing down, would have made a hardcore minigame. Unfortunately, the chutes will obviously not be available in regular IV modes, they would have helped a lot in Cops & Crooks or Deathmatch. Zikomos
This DLC is really going to be over the top. I can see people permanently switching over to TBOGT for multiplayer from here on out. This might even be the best funnest GTA experience to date. Since they are including all of this stuff into freemode, I wonder what kind of cool modes Rockstar is going to come up with for the rest of multiplayer. OGLuke
With 30 missions instead of 20, maybe they can also tie up the loose ends of previous character storys, and maybe even add another one such as frickie van hardenburgs diamond trail or ray bulgarins human traffiking story So far we have Chapter1: ND3 "Mr. bigtime" Times have changed. Chapter2: Gay tony "I made a deal with the wrong devil man" Snow angel Chapter3: Ray Bulgarin "Welcome to the party" Meet the devil. Chapter4: Yusuf Amir "Getting arab money" The golden boy Chapters we have yet to see (but are *Hinted* at) Chapter?: Timur "You work for me now understand?" A winning season Chapter?: Frickie Van Hardenburg "Where the f*ck are my diamonds roth!?" Arms of war Chapter?: Gracie Ancelotti "Do you know who my father is?" Just another girl Chapter?: Willy Valerio "Glad to see you finally came out of the closet" Whos your papi b*tch? Chapter?: Don Giavonni Ancelotti "So what's the queen payin ya? I'll double it" I could use a guy like you. Chapter?: Noose commander "Without us liberty city would burn" Who's protecting who? All chapters i would love to see

Colt M14
My idea of Fun: Flying a buzzard as high as it goes while in a dogfight, bail at the top and parachute down. Land on a Moving APC and drop a sticky grenade, roll off and hop in a new DLC car that is conveniently parked down the road and drive off to the nearest APC to reak some HHHAAAVVVVVOOOKKK.... EPIC. LostSoul 301281
Plus, you can use the new items in the "Free Mode" multiplayer game, such as parachutes, attack helicopter and tanks, as well as new weapons (including assault rifle, sticky grenades, magnum, sniper rifle). Thank god for that. It will just be the same as TLaD. You wont be able to use these items in the main story Free Mode, only in the TBoGT Free Mode. Wenis IV
30 missions = 8-10 hours of gameplay?? They must be pretty short missions Niko's Story had about 90 missions, I beat that game in around 25 hours, so doing the math, 30 missions is 1/3 of Niko's story, and 1/3 of 25 hours is about 8 hours

XTREME0235
This would have to be the best news about TBoGT so far, i'm just guessing here, but i wonder if R* will end up doing a new trailer, and maybe near the end, they might show some scenes for MP, now that the news is out, they might as well. But on topic here, i think that the dogfights with the buzzards will be very quick, seeing as it has rockets & the miniguns on it, BUT, with the RPG rockets, i would assume that if you are dogfighting, obviously if your good enough you will be circling in the air, so with the RPG's, you would probably have to aim in the direction of where they are circling to get a hit on them. But besides that, i think that there MIGHT only be 1 or 2 spawn locations for it. I don't think the Swift will be in MP, as it is Yusif's helicopter, i think, and the buzzard is a millitary helicopter, so it is not really owned by a particular main character. All in all, this is the best news right now, and R* did state that they wanted this episode to go out with a bang for the final episode of GTA IV! MORE MISSIONS, WOOT!
