AnotherDave
I wonder if these new stories will Tie into the past 2 dlc.. or be totally new story ark seeing as how PS3 folks didn't get the 2 xbox versions If there are more of these DLC episodes to episodomise my bank account I would imagine they will be more distant than first two were from the original story and almost certainly a different story arc. Otherwise Holy Trinity wouldn't make sense, and they wrote the three stories to come together from the start but I should think any other story lines would have been written afterwards. But it's Rockstar here and they like their links and tie-ins to past titles so I'd expect their to be at least a couple of cameos and some extra back story for the protagonist, antagonist (assuming they wouldn't be new characters) or other secondary characters. Carnage1120
Didnt they say they were releasing 3 episodes? and 2 of them were exclusive to Xbox? I think there will be a third one and it will be multiplatform this time

GuruAskew
There are three degrees of PS3-owner denial: 1st degree: little-to-no denial, these people accept they're not getting it. 2nd degree: these people accept they aren't getting the 2 360-exclusive DLC episodes and automatically make the leap that there will be a 3rd DLC that isn't exclusive 3rd degree: the PS3 owners who don't even believe the first two are exclusive in the first place. Any rumors of a 3rd DLC come from the second category: the people who just assume that they're eventually going to get some more GTAIV content for the PS3. Truth is, there's not so much as a shred of credible evidence that GTAIV has a future beyond the 2nd DLC.
Diesel311
Guys, it's been a very long time since i finshed niko's story, but if i remember correctly, he never dealt with bulgarin, correct? If so, i think its feasible for rockstar to do a third dlc, once again playing as niko, and we finsh the stuff with bulgarin. Just pondering here though... Then one of the endings would have to be confirmed as canon which Rockstar won't do. I suppose if neither Roman or Kate featured and weren't even mentioned during the DLC it could work but that's about as likely sh*tting gold. If there is more DLC there'd probably be a new protagonist, and it might well be set before Niko arrives in America.

I seem to remember a similar argument doing the rounds when VCS was coming out, i.e a band of PSP owners getting angry about the game not being as exclusive as they thought. Seriously though, having both dead would be a cop out, and to go back to Niko as protagonist would be taking a step backwards. After the three intertwined storylines are finished it's either then end for IV or there's going to be something different. VolksONER
I actually think this will be the last DLC epidose. If not, who will the new playable character be? All the prontagonists were supposed to meet during the Museum mission, where you get the Impossible Trinity achievement. Trinity means three, and that's why I don't think we will see a fourth playable character in a new DLC. Gordon Sergeant. As for the story? It revolves around The Mcreary Family, in the height of their prime. Gordon was around long enough to see this, as he was close friends with Packie & Gerry for quiet a long time. And as for the Impossible Trinity, that could mean just THREE (that you play as) characters are brought together by odd circumstances, there could be another playable character. And remember that sign we all saw? "Blood and a Four Leaf Clover?" Gordon is the four leaf clover, as he is the fourth playable character. That makes perfect sense. The rise and fall of the McReary clan. All of which takes place before IV so there's no major continuity issues. There's way too much unused areas in liberty city for rockstar to abandon it. shinsta312
It was already confirmed that "The Ballad of Gay Tony" will be the final episode for GTA IV. From USA Today: Rockstar Games' grand epic Grand Theft Auto IV writes its final chapter Oct. 29. And the action is as over-the-top as the title: The Ballad of Gay Tony. qazaqwe
it really makes little sense, as the mcrearys have so many open endings it would be hard to write a story that would sucinctly cover all known variables that were undertaken as niko
blowdro420
well i don't know if there will be a 3rd episode, but i do know it won't contain niko. niko's voice actor bitched that $75,000 wasn't enough and that r* is getting hundreds of millions while he only gets $75,000. so they said we won't ever use that guy again. I seriously doubt that USA Today, a well known newspaper company, would pull anything that comes out of their own asses. Secondly, they were talking to Dan Houser when they were doing this article, and he would've made it clear on whatever or not it would be the final DLC. Nightwing 0613
I really hope more DLC will come out for GTA IV. This time it should be multiplatform for 360, PS3 & PC. Gordon Sergeant would be a great character to play as. Heck, even the title of his DLC could be called "Blood and a Four Leaf Clover". Let it run parallel to the other stories, but not be part of the whole "trinity" thing. Since Gordon has 1 or 2 missions with the McRearys, he could contract himself out to other LC crime organizations. Some missions for the McCrearys Maybe even some for the mafia families not shown in the other 3 stories..... Pavanos/Messina family/Lupisella family Heck, even though Kenny Petrovic is only talked about in the vanilla game & is actually only shown during the multiplayer modes, he could be a key player in Gordon's career. Another person could be Jermaine Andrews & the M.O.B. It would be interesting to see what ol' Gordie was up to when he was taking care of Gracie as well as finding out other little tidbits that might fill in the gaps to tie up loose ends in the other stories. And if a 4th DLC were to arrise, I would not mind if it was a female protaganist. We have never had that and it could be interesting.
