Help with cell phone problem

When i press up the cell phone appear and there is two choices which is multiplayer and video clip stuff which i forgot the proper name of that.The question is how should i type the cheats cause when i press up again i cant reach the dail pad and just jumping between the choices i stated...please help me solve the problem cause im newbie in this =(

When you bring up the cell phone by pressing 'up' once, you should see the standby screen. Now press 'up' again which will now bring you to the dialling screen. Once here, just type the phone number using your Numpad.

 

The Multiplayer and Video Editor options appear only if you select 'Menu' from the standby screen.

but once i press up to bring up cell phone it straight away show the multiplayer and video editor option but not standby screen

how do i get back standby screen?the exit button is not use cause once i press it the cell phone will be bringing down= =

Oh, now I remember. That's because you're at the very beginning of the game. You need to pass the mission where Roman officially gives you his old cellphone. It is the second mission of the game 'It's Your Call', if I recall correctly.

LOL no wonder..im too excited to test the cheats out and dint pass any of the mission yet
