gta vc save problems

I have tried installing gta vc saves of say 100% ive got the steam version and what happens is it just starts from the beginning when i try and load it

sorry you had to wait this long for an answer--

 

Steam version saves are NOT compatible with the original PC version saves.....

 

There have been a fair amount of steam players post here but I don't recall anyone posting any saves.

 

I am welcome to anyone uploading steam saves for other to use-- we can host them if needed.

 

I have heard from steam players that Demarest's code tools do work on the steam version (at least timevault-- the mission passer)-- with that installed you can pass any mission in the game by simply walking into the pink marker or getting in the vehicle to start the mission and/or hitting the horn button for vigilante/paramedic/etc...

 

He has seperate code tools for collecting packages and doing jumps for you....

 

i utilized them to complete a 100% save-- took about 5 hours or sol.... you will have to collect the cars for sunshine autos and rob the stores (the old fashioned way) to get 100% (other then what his code tools will do).

 

There are 2 known bugs with timevault-- it will not put up a money icon at the boat yard and printworks-- even though they are passed-- this will not affect your ability to get 100%.
