First of all you obviously don't know what this is about if you're saying they are running windows on mac. Get off the f*cking forum. If you read more about the topic rather rushing in replying to be the internets white knight, that would save some kittens from being killed. You can run Windows on a Mac via BootCamp, so what's the problem? RockStar don't give a crap what you're are running it on, as long as it's legal. The CPU's are VERY similar but are slightly different, for example you cannot rip a CPU out of a Mac and plonk it into a P45 or X38 motherboard, the CPUMicrocode is slightly different and is more optimised to the Mac OSX marchitechture. Bootcamp = very clever low level emulation, but it is still not the real deal... very close, but what you end up with is an impersonation or, mimic of the real thing. YES Bootcamp IS better than Parralelles (Mac's Virtual Machine/VMWare), however it is not the same as using a real PC. There is still low level emulation going on to actually get the OS to boot. I do not know the full technical ins and outs but it is something like PCI-registers, DMI interface, ACPI, etc all being emulated. So all in all, as I said above Macs are NOT intended to run GTA IV PC. Unless R* port GTA IV to run on the Mac then I see no need for crApple people to be posting in here. (as this is the PC forum). To all those Mac haters, Macs are the best thing since sliced bread for Desktop Publishing (all those magazines such as Empire, Edge, etc you can all bet were designed on a Mac). HD Video editing is more intuitive and powerful on a Mac. The only area where I would say it is hard to chose between the two is web design and photography as PC's have caught up with Macs.
