After I lost my ammo, I just took a knife and ran towards the enemies, they launched the rocket straight onto my stomach area, and the rocket just went in and stopped, and I continued to go and killed them. This happened almost every time. The rocket just needs to go straight into the stomach area. You can even protect your team with that trick. It really works!
