hn333
I'm still looking for a cheap card to run GTA 4 on and I came across GeForce 9600 GSO 512MB http://www.newegg.com/Product/Product.aspx...N82E16814121320 I know it's just a re-branded 8800 GS and it only has a 128 bit bus but I think it will be OK. What do you guys think? My PC exceeds all the other recommended requirements except for the video card.
XAF226
It can run it but that 128 bit interface could be kind of crippling.

I'll take my chances, I've been looking at videos of GTA 4 on youtube running this card and it doesn't look crippling to me.
supermortalhuman
No, don't take your chances man, you need to be in the 256bit bracket for more than just gta iv. That card, I don't like it. I hate to be a broken record, but others may agree, in THAT class of card, ATi gives you a better bargain and bang for your buck right now until the high end nvidia cards go down in price. radeon 3850, 3870, 4650, 4850, these can all be found at good prices and will really hold you over until then. Before you take any advice, can we know your processor make and which card is already in your machine?
