Snake Without a Tongue Posted September 27, 2009 Share Posted September 27, 2009 I've only been playing MP for about four months, but I've yet to complete BDBII. Every time I get close someone pops in or out and I get kicked to single player. 9 times out of 10 some douche will leave ten seconds in. If that wasn't bad enough I freeze up randomly for no obvious reason on the ship. I guess I just needed to bitch. Reason not to lock my topic and give me a warning? I guess it makes up for the glitch in Bomb da Base II. On the Xbox version, you can only play with randoms on ranked and it makes completing the co-op missions in time a hassle. So one can join only and if this one leaves the game is over anyway. On those Co-Op missions you usually always find someone who wants to f*ck around. Just last night I was playing Deal Breaker and once one of the guys got to the garage he starting using up his rockets. He ran from the garage to the helipad to grab a helicopter. If you're on the PS3, it is really easy to complete since you don't have to play with random people on ranked matches. I guess it makes up for the glitch in Bomb da Base II. On the Xbox version, you can only play with randoms on ranked and it makes completing the co-op missions in time a hassle. I didn't know that. I can never keep up with friends online. I pretty much willfully rely on the kindness (non-retardation) of strangers. I think I'll try the idea of putting it on a private slot and just using two people. Chances are the random player might object to that, but it's worth a shot. they won't know other then then a 3rd player not joining... although BDB is a bit tough with 2 player until you are experienced... I figured out that was what was going on with cheater-- our game was custom 2 player but not private-- I happened to just join his game..... after a few runs, with long pauses between ending and starting, I realized the settings when nobody joined our game. Might be (hmmm, four months can be much or little exp.), just set difficulty to easy. And two player game also has other advantages, peops on ship dont get that hard weapons. Spuds725 Posted September 28, 2009 Share Posted September 28, 2009 I don't know--lots of random idiots out there-- favorite is when you set the bombs in plenty of time and they don't jump off the ship to end the mission. Or the ones that grab the heli, can't fly to save their lives and land way off the ship.... usually wrecking it so you can't grab the heli and fly up top. if you are host with a decent connection-- you should spawn first and be able to grab the heli-- you pretty much have to land or jump off on the 2nd deck or above to get the time with randoms... takes too long to get through the kitchen and then the 2nd level interior. I dont play all that much, but when I do I usually either get glitched out, or have some random drop a grenade at the start, blowing up the SUVs then being annoying for the rest of the game...
