Mince Posted September 27, 2009 Share Posted September 27, 2009 For some reason, the mouse cursor files (.cur and .ani files) in my Cursors folder are gone. There are some still there, but the rest were moved to another folder (and I can see that they aren't really there, they were deleted). I don't know how this happened, but I'd like to get my cursor files without doing a system restore. I don't have an install CD, and I've tried all the methods I've looked at online. EDIT: Upon reading the rules I don't see anything that says this isn't allowed (perhaps I didn't look hard enough). It simply says no warez. That is, if the staff think sharing mouse cursor files is considered illegal (I bought the operating system, I just lost the files). So I will leave this open, I am surprised you haven't been able to find free cur and ani files on the net. You might also want to state what your operating system is though to help people out. I'll mainly be using the black scheme. I thought it could have been a virus, although AVG Free never detected anything... @CharmingCharlie I was hoping people would read the subtitle and realize that I was on XP, but I guess not... Now is there anyone on XP (more specifically Media Center Edition 2005) that could give me the files? I have the schemes from 7 now, but I'd also like to have all the files that were deleted....
