Lurch
If you can afford a f*cking 80k car, you should damn well be able to afford a house with a garage.
Kaj.
According to the linked topic, buddy was spending the night at his girlfriends place. I certainly hope he got some pussy. And I hope it was worth it.
-slash
Meh, if someone wants your wheels bad enough, lock nuts will only slow them down for a short while.
Pico
Mother f*ckers... I'd keep an eye on the local ebay and craiglists, or other sites with local adds for a set of new GT-R rims Pretend to want to buy them from the guy, tell him you'll pick them up, bring some buddies and some base ball bats. Rims back, and justice. That's just ridiculous. But slash is right, they'll get them off eventually even with locking nuts, if motivated enough. You might have enough time to catch them though. And shouldn't that car have an alarm on it? You'd think it'd go off with the car jacked in the air then lowered on to bricks. Luckily, I'm in a decent enough area and my rims aren't very valuable. I'm more afraid of my t-tops getting stolen... the locks on them don't work!
Lurch
You know, a few more bolts and they could've taken the whole $10k brake system...
*MURDOC*
You know, a few more bolts and they could've taken the whole $10k brake system... Instead of leaving it sitting on them. Be on the lookout for a metallic purple Mazda pickup with GT-R rims on it.
stretch.
took me 10 mins to hammer a normal ratchet bit over a f*cked locking wheel nut to remove it because I was too cheep to buy the tool... Had a case where some guy stole someones wheel nuts, only on one wheel (incl. the locking wheel nut) and left his car sitting on the wheel. People these days ey! Cran.
Not a happy sight at all. I've woken up to this, luckily it was my brother's car, the wheels were sh*tty chinese 'yo bling 20"s as well, which deserved to be stolen to go on a worse car.
